Emergency Rule Change
  • Select up to THREE emergencies. Emergencies from your reserves (bench) list will replace up to three non-scoring players in your starting line-up in matching positions as selected on your team only. Where there are 2 emergencies selected in one position and only one of these is required, the lowest scoring emergency will be used. If both are required, then both will be used. Emergencies can simply be toggled on or off with a click of the Emergency button.
  • If no emergency is available/selected for a 0-scoring player in a certain position, you'll not receive any points from that player.
  • Emergencies scoring 0 or negative points will not be considered the 'lowest-scoring' and will not be used.
Point Scoring

** NOTE: Points are awarded based on the Starting 11 players from each match. A 12th man who takes part in a match will NOT be awarded any points.

Prizes

Round Prize: The Round Prize Winner will receive $500 (or $1,000 if the participant is a SuperCoach Plus subscriber during that BBL round and at the time that the participant is declared the round winner).

Competition Major Prize Winners:

  • 1st Place - $25,000
  • 2nd Place - $5,000
  • 3rd Place - 3,000
  • 4th - 11th Place - $1,000

Just be aware they could be completely revising the entire fixture , given that most talk has been lately that the season will now start a week later than previously announced.

Once the BCCI approves the dates for the Australia v India series , CA will finalise the BBL.

Agree. Unfortunately we will have to take the current fixture with a grain of salt (which sucks, I want to plan!!)

I’ve heard on good authority that there will be a BBL hub set up in Tasmania (likely the block before Christmas).

I picked a draft side last night while following Rabada getting smashed all over the park.

But now with those changes to the scoring I wonder how much difference it will make to players scores now.

Hopefully we get some clarity soon on :-

* if and where the hubs will be

* the ODI/T20 Squad and bio security arrangements

* will the Test Squad be selected for the first 2 Tests only or the entire series (can players freely arrive/depart)

* is their a travel bubble for the WI players available between their series in NZ and possible Bangladesh series , if in fact they are interested in playing ?

* when does the ECB announce their squad for the SA series

etc etc
