Currently two poll options have multiple votes. Although I am not ruling out other alternatives yet (I quite like a few of these options myself), I thought I would show how these two most popular options would line up, to see if that may change votes etc.
Connolly and Lynn option:

As you can see, Lynn is only going to be a backup option if the batting loop player (currently Rossouw) fails in this structure, despite him being on a double. Personally, I'm not sure this is the wisest way to spend our cash. Might be wiser to wait and see the first game scores and bring him in if the loop player does fail.
Webster and Swepson option:

Here our two players are both benched. Webster would be purely there for any cash gen, as he plays in the first game, it means we can't take advantage of his DGR (followed by a Rd 2 bye, he won't be fielded until at least Rd 3 - I guess he is cheap, but might be better cheap options?). Swepson is there in advance of a Rd 3 DGR which I don't mind - this does eliminate the bowling loop, but I am more confident in our bowlers than batters.
Not sure if that impacts anyone's vote or not. I personally prefer the second option out of these two, but both have their positives and negatives. I think we would ideally have some players that are BAT/BWL DPP on the bowling line for future flexibility, but that can get sorted in later rounds.
I'll likely lock in the team based on the leading poll option in my lunch break today, which is usually a bit before 1PM, but depends on my work load / meetings etc. I've actually got a Christmas dinner tonight (very inconsiderate to pick the same time as the first game!), but will definitely be trying to find a few minutes to confirm the starting lineups etc and changing things as necessary - hopefully no changes will be required.
You can see the VC and E players that I have chosen above, if anyone has other options within the team they'd prefer instead, please let me know this morning.
Thanks, and if you haven't voted yet, please do.
