When is the draft?
The BBL|12 Draft will be held on Saturday, August 28 after the first Dettol ODI between Australia and Zimbabwe in Townsville and will be broadcast on Foxtel and Kayo Sports.
The draft will be hosted by Fox Cricket's Adam Gilchrist, Michael Hussey, Darren Lehmann, Kath Loughnan and Mark Howard. Cricket.com.au will also have you covered with all the latest news and updates ahead of the event.

Pretty clear that CA had an axe to grind with Warner and were never going to give him any concessions.
Best for both parties to just move on and let Warner earn his millions abroad.
Looking forward to this season, a lot fresher but not looked at things as closely as last year. Plenty of homework to do!

Be very interesting if Cummins , Hazlewood , Smith & Starc joined him as well.
Have had plenty of opportunities to fix the Big Bash , Khawaja & Punter have had some recent good comments on CricInfo regarding what CA needs to do moving forward.
At least with the draft next month we will know which OS players are starting the season , might get some top line talent for the first few weeks before they jet off elsewhere.
Hopefully the organisers of SC will be creative with the trade situation with OS players arriving and departing and Test players being available but no doubt it will be just a hohum 3 trades per round.
Looking forward to your team previews again , might have to pick your brains on some of the English players who have nominated as well 😀
