If my BWL BAT batsman doesn't play. Can I use my BWL BAT bowler or my BWL bowler as a emergency
WK (E) - covers the WK line

Bat (E) - covers the Bat line , this player can be Bat , Bat/Bowl , Bat/WK

Bowl (E) - covers the Bowl line , this played can be a Bowl or Bat/Bowl

Post your team , might be easier to understand visually if we can see the names of the players you are trying to figure out.

Neesham and Tremain by the looks to me.
I was thinking whether Neesham might be missing (depending when the photo was taken) , has he arrived ?

Tremain makes sense if he was at the CA XI match

Mind you I went to watch a day of the Shield at Karen Rolton earlier this season and was lucky to recognise 5 players by sight from SA & VIC 😀

Gonna have a flyer on Hales myself. Probably happier with Rashid than any of the other options so I don't mind if it's a flop, fairly toss-independent given he's opening, and from memory his record in Canberra is pretty good.
The Stars coach also outlined the likely role of Trent Boult ($180k BWL). He said: “Generally up front, he bowls 2 in the power play, one in the surge and then one in the end. He’s arguably one of the best T20 bowlers in the world, he swings the kookaburra up front. His role is pretty safe and secure.”

Per HoneyballBBL

Adelaide Strikers coach Jason Gillespie spoke about the role of Matt Short ($197k BAT/BWL), with spinner Cameron Boyce out injured. Gillespie told cricket.com.au: “We’ve got Matt Short who can bowl some overs for us and we’ve got Travis Head coming back after Test series. We’ve loved having Ben (Manenti) around the Redbacks group.”
