Would think Bird would slot in, probably means Christian bowls more aswell.

Unless the run an extra spinner and include Murphy. Been in good form. Still have the 4th seam option in Christian.

So looks like two of Manenti, W Agar and Thornton for the last two spots. I'd be really tempted by Manenti as a loop but it would mean forgoing a bowling loop in the first game and then hoping he gets picked...

Unless Manenti comes in for Kelly and they play 3 + 2 🤔

Not sure if posted earlier but Richardson set to play for the Scorchers in their opening game :-

Jhye Richardson ($149k BWL) has bolted back into selection calculations for the Perth Scorchers, after being kept in cotton wool over the past few weeks with a heel issue that needed to settle. Honeyball understands he bowled at full tilt in the side’s practice wicket session on Monday in a sign he is available.

Definitely an option. Reckon people would be dumping Short en masse if that came to pass!
