Yep, Amir made my ears prick up too. Very interesting to see if anyone picks him up - although with only a maximum 24 spots in the initial draft it might be asking a lot!

CricInfo article out now , explaining how the 43 have been issued NOC's.

Shadab , Asif Ali & Dahani the only ones at this stage who might be partially available , Azam Khan has signed up in the UAE tournament.

Mind you things in Pakistani cricket have a habit of changing rapidly so who knows what the case will be if any of them get drafted.

Yeah, I'm not sure it's quite the coup that the Strikers are making it out to be.

I still think they are one genuine quality bat short personally, lot of reliance still on Marsh and Finch for mine who arent getting any younger, Shadab Khan's batting has improved a mile in 12-18 months though probably good enough to bat top 6 these days.

Might be a experience grab , if they are confident Carey & Head are playing 5 Tests each , losing Wells as well.

I guess they see him opening with Short.

Sunday night should give us more of an idea how their XI is looking.

Wait and see what happens Sunday night , wonder what happens if any of the Platinum 12 don't get drafted , quite embarrassing for CA.
