Was just having the same thought. Reckon this is going to spectacularly backfire on CA given the teams don't want players of even Russell, Pollard, Faf's calibre if they can't play the full season.

Can't imagine they'll be forking out the platinum rate for Dave Warner next season either.

yeah pretty much, massive financial investment to give a lot of the usual suspects a payrise. Goes against the whole point of this being introduced to add marketable stars to the pool of usual suspects.

if CH7 was ready to walk before this was introduced, I can't see them being any happier after tonight.

The fact that Lynn doesn’t have to face Rashid might have everything to do with the fact they think it’s a coup.
