That's an update on team lists in case you are wondering who's signed and who hasn't.

Teams are at best X11 that I think so (give or take with lower order) when BBL R1 starts most of the Aus team will be taken out along with injuries etc. *and Thunder will have a keeper

Interesting to see , wonder if Thunder have Paine in their sights or stick with Gilkes/Holt as the keeper. Scott Edwards another possible option if the Renegades or Stars don't offer him a contract this season

Bash boost point removed.
Power surge retained. Not a big fan but can live with it.
Innings clock. However not sure it is punitive enough. By my reading it will can only result in the fielding team having 1 less fielder outside the ring in the final over.

My understanding of the innings clock was every over after the 79th minute (when the 20th hasn’t commenced) will be 4 outside of the circle. Could be wrong though.

Personally glad they kept the surge, like the tactical aspect of it and can often shift the status of the game.

Yeah, that does appear to be the case. Which tournament allowed this punishment to stack and reduce the outer ring fielders even further? Was it the Hundred?

Interesting tactical overlap with the Surge too. You don't really want to have the Surge active in the last over now because it might nullify any advantage you'd otherwise get there. Doesn't happen that often but you sometimes see it when an innings has to be rebuilt from a poor start.

Hoping all of the replacement international players are known before the BBL starts. May not impact the salary game too much, but it's very useful information for draft purposes.
