1/472 David (V) - 6 DGRs

David, Ellis, Ashraf, Dooley, Wade, McDermott, Abbott

A little behind the Ellis Vs but should be ok. I have had plenty go right this year however that is just another example where I just can't get that extra ounce of luck to push right up to the very top. David looked a million bucks and looked set to post a good score and then his first shot he doesn't middle goes to a fielder. Ellis gets a lucky meaningless quick 20 at the end to beat him by 40 points. Apologies to those that read this and say "what are you complaining about" with that score. I get it; I have been there. However I just look on enviously to those ranked in single and double figures and know how close I have been at times to being one of them. (Is that violins I hear?)

1/515 David from 9 score involvements.

Went for a couple of PODs. Currently down on putting the C on David instead of Ellis. Currently up in bringing in Crawley over Jewell or Wade. Happy with Abbott as my only SGR player so far.

Overall I’m happy with that start.

Both David and Ellis have another game to go. Something to remember

I think when you are playing fantasy/SC sports its best to vent (good or bad) as much as you can to get it off your chest, even if no one replies.
feel it takes the stress away that some people can't handle, and you can quickly move on to the next game.

It was intended as more of a sigh than a vent.

That is amazing.
If it were SCS League it would be more understandable, but a random public League, that is long odds.
What’s also amazing is that I am also in that same random public league as @Darkie and so too is @Tamuhawk who I’m matched up against in the main Grand Final.

I think most of you know by now that I'm generally a pretty positive person.

It's a tough position to be in. I just didn't think I could catch a break from here, and with so much working against me of recent times (some of my own doing), it just gets to the point where at the death you wonder if you have enough bark left in the bite.

I have finished the night at 0/411 so it's not as much death riding as what it seemed at 7:15pm when Smith came into bat.

There were huge moments in that match. For starters I was cheering Hooley without recognising that Andrew had him which is just such an overlook. Then it turned to Crawley and David after Wade and Jewell just cooked me with such opportunity. Opportunity that they have had multiple times with faith.

That just felt against the tide and then I finally got something back with Ellis at the end.

Still in the race, but it's a game that can just break you at times. I've said this to multiple people behind the scenes...I can't wait for it to be over just so I can get my life back. I'm on holidays to enjoy myself and so wrapped up in this.

@Miller is a Steele you're the one with eyes on 2nd right? How are they tracking?
They have:
David 49
Jewell 7
Ellis 92
Abbott 97
Smith 101
Then he has some decisions to make. He put the E on McDermott (33). He can either loop him in or trade Holt/Inglis/Bancroft to a WKP.
The other decision is his VC, he had Meredith (28).

The 5th bench player is Inglis. Keep in mind he has only used 1 trade so far. I have no idea if he has a boost in hand or not.
