I agree with you, just trying to figure it out too.
The problem you run into if you don’t bowl David there is Parker almost certainly bowls a power surge over if they leave it to the last 4 to take it. It’s thinking ahead but also hurting them.
At the end of the day, they screwed the pooch with the bat and don’t have the bowling attack to pull off the miracle.

Agree, I wonder if Wade has some serious stuff going on outside of cricket as he has missed a few games (personal leave) & just hasn't looked in a good mindset most of the comp.
I would look at Ellis being the captain next year - that guy gives you 100% effort every game/ full of energy/ very positive vibe. No idea what his communication skills/tactical skills are like but if they are quality then he would be the guy I think.
