Glenn Maxwell is the highest owned player in supercoach BBL currently at 56.6% owned.
BUT what if I told you there is a few good reasons you should avoid him round one even at his juicy price.
Maxwell Coming off a world cup campaign, followed by a T20 series against India.
4th of December is the last of the T20s, only a few days later on the 7th he will jet in from India to the Gabba to face the Brisbane Heat where he struggles 5 games at the Gabba for supercoach scores of 13,0, 38, 6, 35 = 18.4avg
Then his second game is against the scorchers where he struggles as well.
10 games against Scorchers (66, 10, 4, 111, 22, 69, 1, 20, 8, 5) 31.6 avg
It's hard to see him getting many overs as well with so many bowlers at the Stars so you would be banking on a tired Maxwell to score lots of runs and fielding pts.
Followed by a bye in Round 2.
