Almost time to get this party started for another season ....

After the apparent success of the previous three years threads (BBL09, BBL10, BBL11 and BBL12) I'm prepared to go around again ...

- I have learnt a lot from doing so "publicly" in this particular sport during those years .... and hopefully @THCLT will continue to assist me in the "background" with some finer details people don't see when required ....

Intend to also provide an updated top 20 teams (excluding trades made) at the completion of each round again this season ...

As per last season what would greatly assist me again this year is anyone with a "SC Gold" subscription posting me the updated BE's for a handful of players at the completion of each round (ASAP) ....

- Why .... from that small sample size I can determine the new MN pretty accurately for each upcoming round in literally minutes, apply it and calculate the new BE for every player in a matter of seconds and then subsequently post them all in one hit for us all to use before the commencement of the next round ...

- The quicker the better as it will save me time and effort to spend on say the top "20 teams" each week ...

- Only need one or two dedicated people to do this ... you'll be appropriately acknowledged for doing so in my updates unless you specifically request not to be ...

Round 1 / Game 1 update (#1):

- BRI v MELS @ Gabba (7.15 pm start)

Notes:
- The "BE proj" and "Price Proj" figures are forward looking before the start of next round ...
- I will provide another update before the start of the next round with the "actual" BE's for all teams once the new MN is determined ...

- Both teams have another game to play yet so price changes will change yet again because of the TGR / DGR !!
- So this is not a "true" reflection yet until the next game(s) are completed ... please don't do any trades based on that teams predictions just yet ..

- MELS won the toss and decided to Bowl first ...

Are those price projections based on if they got 0 for the next game like Jhye Richardson will be 226,417 if he doesn't score in their other game?

No .... Richo is priced at 80 pts per game and that is only factored in for the BE Proj

- if he scores below that then his price will drop even further
- if the game doesn't go ahead it will remain as I've forecast (approximately)

Not sure but IMO it should be to protect the integrity of the comp ...

- rain etc is pure luck but that game should never have gone ahead and been rescheduled in the first place ...
- there is a 5 day break that could "easily" be utilised to rectify the "curator" mishap ...
- now over to CA to make a call ...

No chance it gets rescheduled if you ask me, at least in the next few days. There would be arguments they can't do it in such short notice in terms of ticketing, getting a pitch ready etc. Fully expect Perth are heading back home this morning which would guarantee it doesn't happen then.
