I have all 5 of those, but I suspect that Pookus has a very different team value to me.
Pookus is so much fun to play with though :)

I think Pookus will have a very strong team and strong bench.

Me , I could very end of with Silk if Thursday night goes pear shaped

lol worst advice ever! :p

I actually dabbled with having both though. Would need to get rid of SOK. But I don't like the balance of two quicks from the same team, could easily suffer the same fate (This from the guy running 8 Stars last round, -what you never seen a hypocrite before?)
Maybe you could try your 8 ? theory in a SWG + a Short SOK Richo

In the 5 games at Docklands in which the Gades went 3-2:
Gades - 6/107; 9/99; 4/150; 10/120; 7/140
Opponents - 10/103; 7/132; 5/145; 4/124; 10/113

The wicket-takers:
Game 1: Gades - Richardson and Christian 3; Shinwari and Wildermuth 2; Opponents - Behrendorff and NCN 2; Agar 1; run-out 1
Game 2: Gades - Richardson 3; Wildermuth 2; Shinwari and Nabi 1; Opponents - Curran 3; Abbott, O'Keefe and Manenti 2;
Game 3: Gades - Richardson 3; Shinwari and Wildermuth 1; Opponents - Meredith, Both and Rose 1; run-out 1
Game 4: Gades - Richardson 2; Nabi 1; run-out 1; Opponents - Stoinis 3; Bird, Plunkett and Zampa 2; Bravo 1
Game 5: Gades - Richardson 3; Boyce 2; Tremaine, Gurney and Christian 1; run-out 1; Opponents - Cook, Jordan and Ahmed 2; Sams 1

Gades in sum:
Richardson - 3, 3, 3, 2, 3 = 14
Wildermuth - 2, 2, 1, 0, DNP = 5
Christian - 3, 0, 0, 0, 1 = 4
Gurney - 0, 1
Boyce - 0, 0, 0, 0, 2 = 2

Sixers in their one game:
Curran - 3 (not available); Abbott, O'Keefe and Manenti 2; Dwarshuis 0. Lyon and Pope - DNP

So - who's game to put the "c" on Richardson? He's averaging 78 ppg from wickets alone before ER, dot balls, catches etc are added.
In the Sixers game he scored 105.

would you rather Stoinis & Harper or Richo & DC/Maxwell

go and get your calculator out and add up their combined prices and averages
Stoinis is capable of scoring 100+ with batting alone. Wade, Short and Maxwell probably the only plauyers I would say this about.
Maybe I would think about using his cash elsewhere If I needed the cash, but I already can field a gun team without losing him:

Stoinis Short Christian Maxwell Archer/Faulkner
Wade
Richardson Abbott Lamichhane SOK Ahmad

Problem is with this team my bench fails. If I want to run a loop the best I can do is Silk, would need to downgrade to get a Finch or Gurney type

Thoughts on this team. Will upgrade/downgrade Gurney and Finch depending on loops.
I like it! Finch is one I am deliberating on myself, surely with law of averages he is too classy a player not to find bulk runs in a domestic semi.
Been burnt too recently by Dunk to see him as a worthwhile loop though, but you never know. You are more confident in a Bravo over an Ahmad for looping purposes? Ahmad looks pretty safe to me, but to each his own- definitely could be the better choice.

Will probably come down to which team bowls first. If Bravo balls first he is guaranteed the death overs so IMO is safe for a 50-60 at least. Otherwise I will loop as he won't get that much of a bowl if Short and Wade are chasing a small total.
