NZ have scored 383 and 401 in this World Cup and lost both games. That is ridiculous.

Looks like six teams realistically in it, then - Pakistan are potentially good value now, they play after NZ so will know what is required to get past them.

I don't think that I have ever seen the timed out rule invoked before. Sri Lanka won't be happy as it seemed that Mathews helmet strap broke when he reached the middle.

Surely there would be some common sense from the umpires. They parrot on about making sure helmets are safe to use and then pull this nonsense.

They took longer deliberating their decision than it took for the spare helmet to come out!

Looks worse for Shakib the more I look at it. I am very much in the Ashwin camp as regards the Mankad but I really don't like the way this has played out.
