I'm not sure I had quite appreciated just how good Travis Head was until these knockout games. And I say that as someone who thought our chances were essentially shot to pieces the second he broke his hand.
There's a real maturity to this innings as much as speed, picking the right ball (and bowler) to target. It's not pure slogging, he's completely in control.

Congratulations guys on winning the WC👏 Coming back from 2 down to go all the way to win the trophy shows the character👍🏻 Highlight of the final - an incredible innings by Head. What an innings. Mind boggling 💪🏻 Big occasion, big match player 🔥🔥 and that catch, running behind👌🏼 The fielding was absolutely phenomenal. Easily 30-35 runs saved! The youngster Warner was all over the ground 🔥 Persisting with Labu paid off! Clinical! Enjoy the moment guys. One bad day and we are out. It will take some time to come out of this upset!

Brave call from Cummins at the coin toss pays off in spades and he lead from the front in the field.
Travis Head an absolute star and the innings from Marnus cannot be underestimated.
Another very late night absolutely worth staying up for.

Easily my favourite player from this bunch. Can see why they kept him in the squad when his hand was busted as well. An amazing few years for him it has been and topped off with a ton in a WC final!
Have to feel for the Indian team. Near perfect throughout the rest of the competition but fall at the final hurdle. Goes to show how cruel a game cricket can be!
