I kept him too, the only problem is he won too easily in fantasy, he only scored 9 points!

In great form though, up against Alan Soutar next, it's good that one of those two will make the final 8, would have got decent odds on that pre tournament.

Will be interesting to see how he goes once someone puts some pressure on him. That last leg was so smooth by him, has such rythem when he is on like that but every now and then shanks one badly where he looks too rushed.

That was a cracking match between Smith and Clayton this morning. Smith has really matured as a player from his finals run in 2019.
I haven’t really followed Clayton much, as I haven’t tended to watch a lot of darts outside this tournament over the years, but he’s a bloody gun.
Stiff there had to be a loser. Interesting match coming up for Gerwyn. Loaded section of the draw as it’s panned out. Not an easy matchup whichever way it had gone.
