Flipped a coin this week on whether to load up on Hamilton and Mercedes or LeClerc and Ferrari. I have been burnt by Ferrari too much so went the former of course which is basically begging for the alternate to go 1, 2.
It's good seeing 2 Aussies qualify in the top 7, especially seeing where their teammates qualified (11 and 12 spots lower). Hopefully they keep it up in the race.
Also a heads up that's probably the last time this season I will calculate and post breakevens now unless there is a specific need - from here on in it is all about making the most of what budget you have and simply picking for points, and even if a trade does yield a budget gain there just aren't enough rounds left to properly invest that gain for more points when compared to just taking likely/expected points on offer in the current round.

Yeah and was a consummate team player giving Ricciardo the tow to help him as well.
I cooked my trades utterly... was always keeping the 2 RB, Max and Lando, so couldn't do anything about that fail but... The 2x McLaren, Piastri and LeClerc combo went into various forms involving 2x Ferrari, 2x Mercedes, Leclerc/Russell, LeClerc/Hamilton, LeClerc/Sainz and after all my tinkering I ended up somehow with 2x McLaren and Perez and Russell
To be fair, I went for the zag move, turns out the zig of the Ferraris is looking really good unfortunately for me! Oh well, lets see what happens in the race.
I was supposed to go Ferrari and Sainz to Merc and Hamilton but apparently didn't save them, so for the second week running it looks like I'm being saved by my incompetence and the red cars!

Last lap fastest lap for Hamilton twisted the knife (went from losing 5 points on missing trades to 45) but the real killer has been Perez. Much like Bottas in 2021, just can't pick when to have him in or out.
