Def: Goddard, Heppell, Hanley, Hartlett, Ellis, Goodes (Vlastuin, Thurlow)
Mid: Ablett, Pendlebury, Barlow, Kennedy, Dangerfield, Fyfe, Selwood, Priddis (Mitchell, Martin)

Would like to make a few upgrades still (Kennedy > Naitinui, Vlastuin > Gibbs, Priddis > Griffen/Watson) but they are probably not going to happen with just 5 trades left..

Hi Lenny5, with regard to Zorko, an option to consider would be bring Natanui into fwds by subbing McBean into Ruck bench, bringing Nicholls on.

Yeah have thought about that, but I reckon Zorko will start to come good and will score higher that Nicholls more often that not. Will consider though. :)

Just worked out a plan that, if everything goes to plan, I will end up with this:

Completion of Rd 13:
Vlastuin --> Wilson

Completion of Rd 14:
Terlich --> Hanley

Completion of Rd 15:
Staker --> S.Johnson

START OF ROUND 16-

4 Trades
Approx $40K left.

D: Goddard, Gibbs, Shaw, Heppell, Hanley, Hartlett (Wilson, Thurlow)
M: Ablett, Pendles, Watson, JPK, Jack, Deledio, Cotchin, Selwood (T.Mitchell, Hrovat)
R: Minson, Naitanui
F: Cox, Martin, Rockliff, Franklin, S.Johnson, JJK (Zorko, Mcbean)

Will rotate with E loophole between JJK and Zorko.

I'm a bit embarrassed posting my Final SuperCoach team, but we are all friends here, so here goes:

D: Goddard, Heppell, Gibbs, Scotland, Shaw, Staker [Clisby, Saunders]
M: Ablett, Swan, Pendles, J.Selwood, Swallow, Deledio, Cotchin, JPK [Hrovat, Speight]
R: Cox, Naitanui [Nicholls, Naismith]
F: Sj, N.Riewoldt, Martin, Buddy, Rockliff, Zorko [Hitchcock, McBean]

Unfortunately, my team is in a state where I'm forced to choose between 2 evils; thus have decided to select Staker/Clisby rotating as D6/D7. If Staker/Clisby can average 80 I'll be happy seeing as Birchall was averaging around the same....LOL

Birchall out for 4-6 weeks and SJ only out for 2 weeks makes my decision easier. Thus, Birchall to JPK

D - Goddard, Heppell, Ibbotson, Gibbs, Enright, Scotland (Vlaustin, Thurlow)
M - Ablett, Pendles, Dangerfield, JPK, Cotchin, Deledio, J.Selwood, NDS (Mitchell, Saunders)
R - Goldstein, Maric (Nicholls, Rowe)
F - Bartel, Rockliff, Cox, Franklin, Martin, Winderlich (J.Daniher, Staker)

4 trades and 140k. That's after making this weeks planned Birchall-->Gibbs + McCaffer-->J.Daniher. Was hoping to have a better F6 than Winderlich/Staker and Swingman M/F + D/M but hey I'm running out of trades! Next week be tempted to use Winderlich + 140k to the best forward I could get (N.Roo?) and then leave the last 3 trades for injuries.

I like it!
Will attempt to do the same with Rockliff-JJK if/when I downgrade Thurlow->Richards [F/D]

Edit: infact, I think I will probably trade Vlastuin > Richards this week especially if Vlastuin is out..

Yes, Winderlich must be traded out.

Being ranked 11th overall, I think you need to take the gamble and go for the $50K regardless if you win it or not.

I think the fact that SJ is out makes your decision easier. I don't see you having a floating donut and you have 3 viable F6 with Winderlich, J.Daniher and Staker and it's a bit of russian roulette. Either way I think you must trade for a premium for Winderlich and N.Roo looks like as good as any. SJ would have been the obvious choice.

One more thing is you may need to plan ahead.

With SJ back in 2 weeks, what's you plan. SJ plays Melbourne after the 2 weeks holiday. Will you look for a way to trade in SJ or will you ride the wind and hope SJ fails.

I'm just raising the questions for to decide. I don't think you can wait for 2 weeks for SJ but also in 2 weeks I'd be concerned not to have SJ in your final team, especially the first week back from holiday, it's against Melbourne.

I think you should plan 2 weeks ahead too mate :) All the best.

Thinking F6 upgrade for sure. Not convinced with floating donuts at all. I understand the concept and have used the emergency loophole to great effect so far this year. Confident most people at the top have burned their trades. Cover will be important, and having a floating donut doesn't help come Suspension/Injury/Restings etc. With 3 trades left and 10 rounds to play, I think I have to hope my pod can outpace the others. H.Shaw, SJ etc miss games. I've tried were possible to compile a side of durable players (Barring Franklin, but hey bought him in two weeks ago for value). Hoping this can be effective. With so few trades left, I have no choice!

Sorry, I didn't mean Floating Donut, per se, just saying a donut player.

Just saying that if you had a donut player in F8, you could take a gamble for 2 weeks rotating between the alternatives for example Winderlich or Staker then trade in SJ. Since you don't have a donut player, you must upgrade Winderlich (which you know anyway).

I'm just saying to plan what you going to do when SJ comes back. There is no right or wrong answer what you do with SJ whether you look for a way to trade SJ in or alternatively, you just take a gamble and hope SJ drops in form; just saying should plan a few weeks in advance.
