I can’t help but be drawn to TJL at F4.

Gresham, locked n loaded
Interesting. I have noticed his name a couple of times now. Is he training the house down and will spend more midfield time next year? :p

Strangely enough, I was looking at his mate and scs fave Billings. After being dropped, came back to score 99, 96, 77, 125, 77, 77, 110, 107, 97, 69, with those scores under 80 due to inefficiency/lack of impact rather than not hitting the stats sheet (DT scores of 86, 85, 84, 75). From memory he was playing pretty much midfield the whole time and getting lots of touches behind the ball.

But then again, the pain of having him in my team for half the year is one I really don’t want to go through again..

Gresham is meant to play more mid time next year and I think the saints desperately need his ball use in there.

I know Dunkley is a potential trap but I feel he has more upside than anyone within 50k either side of his price except Heeney unless the hawks say Wingard will play mostly midfield

There is a quote floating around from Wingard himself in which he says Clarko told him he would be playing that forward role mainly at the Hawks as he has done at Port, straight from his own mouth.

When has Clarko ever kept in one position though , the thing about his coaching is having most of his players playing fwd , mid , def used to always have a different 3 in for each centre bounce.

Can see Titch , J-Bomb & Chad in the square with Breust and Puopolo forward.

Clarko will keep everyone guessing

Given forward rookies are usually rubbish and aside from the midfielders listed as forwards, none of the premos really jump out at their price, I'm looking for one/maybe two stepping stone 200k-400k type players as standby options for F4/5 if the rookies don't show up.

Last year I had Hogan F5 ($383k, made 100k by Round 5) and almost started Dunkley at F6 ($296k, averaged 95.1 for the season).
There was also Jed Anderson ($258k) who made it to $461k by round 11 averaging 86.5 before getting injured and to a lesser extent, Zac Fisher (263k, made 120k by round 8 averaging 83 to that point).

It would seem we're looking for injury discounted players who can go big or low-priced young mids listed as forwards. Any smokeys this year, apart from the obvious types (JJK perhaps just fits the category)?

Anyone got info on VandenBerg maybe?
