Any Saints supporters here that can give an insight on the chances of McKenzie being picked this week. He was Sandi's BOG last week with 28 poss, 7 marks, 6 tackles and a goal. He was also in their best in round 1. He might be the defensive downgrade I've been looking for especially with DPP.
He is my floating donut. Round 11 debut please.

Interested to know if anybody has a clear idea in their mind of who they see being the top 6 defenders this season. I basically have no idea so won't worry about Simpson, Lumumba and Newnes until I'm 90% sure of the upgrade I'm making will improve my side.

Scoring risks: Hooker, Rance, McDonald, Gibson, McGovern, Pittard and Hurley.
I expect Gibson will be effected by Lake's injury and forced to play more of a shutdown role now. The Port game was misleading because Port were panicking and bombing the ball back to the Hawks defenders for most of the second half. The rest of them are obvious regressing to the mean candidates imo. I doubt any of them will average over 95 for the remainder of the season.

Durability risks: Hodge has missed multiple games in 6 of his previous 7 seasons. H Shaw hasn't had a 20 game since since 2007.

I'd say Brodie Smith, Birchall, Hibberd, Simpson and Taylor to be the top 5 defenders for most points for the rest of the season. Birchall and Hibberd don't have excellent durability either, Simpson looks to have fallen away a bit and Taylor will only average low 90s and be a borderline pick.

The question is whether CD have adjusted their scoring slightly to give more points for intercept marks and rebounds out of the 50. Rance, McDonald, Hooker, McGovern, all have that as part of their game and all are scoring pretty well (Hooker ridiculously well).

Hooker - 1st for marks, 2nd for contested marks, 3rd for total 50 rebounds.

Good point. The only particularly relevant stat I have for key defenders in my regression formula due to a lack of available data is 1%s, which have increased from about 1.4pts last season to 2.1pts this season.

Contested marks from opposition kicks have always been the highest(listed) scoring stat in the game.

Nope.
Actually makes it interesting to not be so clear cut and also means trading out some players not performing quite as well as I hoped down back has not been the priority I thought I would have had them be as changes. Brodie Smith only one I identify as top 6 I felt could lock in but at $500K I've yet to actually be willing to pay the price to get him in.

The weekly 'premium' Supercoach form guide is really................really bad.

Twice they have highlighted stats that by there own admission is not fantasy relevant and then proceeded to list the players leading the comp in the fantasy irrelevant stat.

It's only 'premium' due to the fact that you need to pay for it.

This went on before mini-draft one in FDL two weeks ago.
I wonder if Ross Lyon asked Colin to close the door after him at Freo earlier this week too.
You are two weeks behind me Rossy...lol

Port Phillip Bay Pirates are de-listing the following players:

Xavier Ellis, WCE, (DEF/MID)
Leigh Adams, NTH, (FWD/MID)
Colin Sylvia, FRE, (FWD/MID)

Please close the door on your way out Colin.
Haha, I can't believe you let him in the door in the first place, lol
Fair to say I was desperate for forwards that late in the draft...lol

Lot of hate mail going around for Hodgey this morning. You'd think he'd killed Swallow if you didn't see it lol. Been much worse incidents then this in the last 5 years that got half the attention. Wellingham on Simpson springs to mind, Mckernan on Shepherd. All much more "Cowardly" incidents. People pretty quick to hang him out to dry considering how every man and his dog had him cited as one of the games greats 6 months ago.

I've barely liked any pages on Facebook as I think most of them are either too commercial or uninteresting but AFL Related Simpsons Quotes is perhaps my favourite thing on the internet. If you like the Simpsons you'll enjoy the page.

One of my favourites was from last season comparing Free Agency to when Homer rounded up his relatives in his front yard to convince Lisa they weren't all stupid.

Gillon McLachlan: I rounded up every Free Agent in the country so I can PROVE to you free agency works. This is the great James Frawley. Go ahead, Chip, tell her what you do.
James Frawley: I used to run an unsuccessful backline.
McLachlan: [nervously] Oh... but you *run* it, right?
Frawley: [smugly] Oh, yeah.
McLachlan: Okay... uh, this is everyone's favourite, Mitch Robinson!
Mitch Robinson: Um, I got in a fight on King St.
McLachlan: [More nervously] Everybody hates King St, right?
[Gillon frantically looks for a successful player and spots a dapper man smoking a cigar.]
McLachlan: You look pretty successful!
Liam Jones: Thanks! I play a key position role at the Bulldogs...At least, I'd like to.
Mark Evans: You probably should have researched this first, eh Gill?
McLachlan: What about you?
Paddy Ryder: Well, sir, I'm suing my former club.
Nick Malceski: I'm just looking for more money!
Mitch Clark: I retired six months ago.
Heretier Lumumba: I sit in a 'thinking chair'.
Jarrad Waite: My legs hurt.

Is there somewhere on SC site I can go to get all games each round played thus far & see all scores for each player?

Apart from going to each individuals own info page.

I think there is a section in the Match Centre which shows results for the current round in progress. You will have to wait until the round starts to check it out though.

Edit: what he said above :)

The boys spill some DPP beans. Boyd (add DEF), vandenBerg (add FWD) and Salem (add DEF) are some of them. http://afl.to/1Jij8ym #AFLFantasy

Not sure if anyone has seen this but this is great. Dunstan now wears number 7 for those who didn't know.

Little snap shot from AFL.com on the new DPP eligibility! Mitch Clark... Too little, too late.

Edit : Before anyone mistakes this, it's not SuperCoach relevant.
