Hey guys, just a quick question re: my keeper team for 2022.
I'm having a hard time narrowing down to 12 keepers from my 2021 team and would be interested to hear some thoughts on the matter.
Obviously a few positional changes have been slated (Hind def etc)
Also remembering it's a keeper league, so younger players are generally more valuable.
(Keep 12, cut 10. It's a 10-man draft)

My thoughts are to keep:
Crisp
Stewart
Dawson
Ryan
Macrae
Steele
Merrett
Lyons
T Green
McInerney
Dangerfield
Bailey

Any merit in switching in any of the following?
Parker
LDU
Ash
Jackson
Hind

What do you think?

I think you’ve done very well to put that side together.

It’s hard to pick any holes in those changes in my view.

If I was to consider one change, it might be forgoing Danger (seemingly MID only in 2022) and hanging on to Hind.

At his age, Danger may not be an elite MID for much longer, although if you’re focused on 2023+, he could be quite a handy FWD for a couple of years.

One disadvantage of taking Hind is that it probably locks your defence, albeit with quite a high scoring set of players.

If you’re 2022 focused, I’d probably just keep Danger, unless your team is so dominant that you can pay it forward to 2023+ and take Hind instead.

Cheers mate, yeah forwards have been tough to get!
I won comfortably this year, picked well last year (first of the keeper league) to lock in quite a few young guns on the up.

If Danger is mid-only I could definitely justify dropping him.

Wow! That’s ridiculous. Your mid are ranked 1, 2, 6 and 10. Your defs 4, 6, 7 and 8. I assumed you’d had to choose well over a number of years to put that sort of side together.

This link has Danger as MID only, albeit it’s obviously not definitive until they’re announced.
