Talk about breaking the player code...
Not like Zorko is a model citizen when it comes to behind the play indiscretions.

“It’s interesting, you’re allowed to grab the groin region now and squeeze it and do whatever you want to it,” Zorko said on SENQ Breakfast.
“So that’s an interesting rule that’s been cleared by the AFL.
“It’s quite interesting that (he) got off. We had really good evidence to support the case.
“I tell you what, my groin region is quite bruised at the moment. It’s funny how that all happens.”
SENQ Breakfast’s Pat Welsh asked: “And they took no action?”
The former Lions skipper replied: “Clearly not, it must have been an accident.
“It’s an accident when they get up and smile and laugh about it, isn’t it.”
Welsh’s co-host Ian Healy quipped: “Well, get into it for the rest of the season then.”
“They’ve set the precedent now,” Zorko laughed.
Cup of concrete and all that Zorko

Heard this on the tv yesterday, can't remember who. Dermie maybe. Talking about Aliir. Said something like "The Port players were saying after the match, that he just wasn't right. That he just wasn't there after that happened." If the AFL do nothing, or hand Port a piddling $5k fine, they may as well just throw this whole protocol thing in the bin!!!

Dayne Zorko says he has significant bruising around his groin after ‘squirrel grip’ incident
The MRO was not able to lay any charges against Touk Miller for a tackle Dayne Zorko says caused significant bruising around his groin. But the case might not be closed.
The AFL is prepared to investigate Dayne Zorko’s claims he was grabbed on the “groin region” by Touk Miller if the Lions make an official complaint on Tuesday.
Brisbane midfielder Zorko said on Monday he had significant bruising around his groin after being caught in what was described as a “squirrel grip” on Saturday night.

Gold Coast Suns captain Miller was on Sunday cleared of wrongdoing by the AFL after laying an errant tackle on Zorko during the third quarter of the Q-Clash.
One of Miller’s hands went over Zorko’s shoulders, while the other appeared to grab at his groin region.

It is understood Zorko’s medical report was clear when lodged by the Lions and did not refer to any bruising of his testicles.

It meant MRO boss Michael Christian lacked the discretion to follow up as part of AFL processes and call Zorko and Miller about the circumstances of the tackle.

But the AFL said on Monday night it would follow up with the Lions about Zorko’s comments on Tuesday.

If Brisbane wanted to take the incident further and make an official complaint the AFL would discuss next steps with the club.

But given Miller’s tackle would not be assessed as intentional, it would be unlikely to be an action worthy of suspension.

Zorko said he was shocked that Miller had not been penalised.

Zorko said Miller’s reaction after the incident did not suggest it had been an accident.

“It’s an accident when they get up and they smile and laugh about it, isn’t it?” he said on SEN radio.

What do they mean by "Squirrel Grip"?
Squirrels like to grab nuts and take them with them for the winter.
