I was also at that game! Think I had a commemorative T-shirt but I was only 10 at the time so obviously didn't keep it...
Funnily enough I was living / working in Sydney at the time ....

Had a Swans mate and thus went to all of their home games ...

- wasn't a Swans supporter initially and started off barracking against them ...
- changed my tune after a while as they had a different style ...
- I still recall no one being concerned about being 5 goals down heading into the last quarter ..

Became my second team if you are "allowed" to have one ...

- that all changed once "Buddy / Tippet" arrived ... destroyed the team IMO ...

Never mentioned anything about post game so not sure how that works. My comment was referring to just in game play.

And I agree safety is important in the workplace. Unfortunately we are talking about the AFL and they selectively avoid applying safety in the workplace when it is convenient for them so you never know what they will do or stand for.
My response was to the social media pile on about comparing this to players going to fans after games. Apologies if you thought it was personal.

The Blues expect Cerra and Walsh to miss at least another week, but Jordan Boyd (suspension) will be available. Silvagni is closing on a return, but it won't be for this week's clash with the Demons. Another horror injury for Powell, but it could have been worse. 'Only' torn medial ligaments that will require surgery later in the week compared to last year's fractured and dislocated ankle.
