Is Reid's body still held together by tape during pre-season ? , is Blakey a chance at good JS (think Naismith is back 6-8 , so then Sinclair could play forward).
Don't like Blakey's starting price let alone a KPF but running out of options.
I have no specialist inside info on Freo but it appears to me to just be a bursar as stated. If it was anything else the rumours would be going around Perth media by now. The question posed on radio recently was why did he play AFLX (for the $?) and then have the elbow done after and probably miss playing JLT rather then get it done first, miss AFLX and then play JLT to help get the team structures etc correct. Other reports note they still need to improve on ball skills and delivery. They had a heap of inside 50's last game but kicked to the opposition to much and got little out of those entries. How Darcy goes will be critical in the next JLT as if he goes down injured (managing a hamstring) the ruck stocks look thin with Lobb the only serious option.

coach Ken Hinkley expects Ryder to be able to front up for Round 1.
“He is okay,” said the Power coach. “It’s quite simple. “It sounds a bit cold, but they (surgeons) will just flick that (depression) out.
“I’d say, realistically, he’s a more than good chance to play Round 1.”

The Gold Coast Suns have suffered a significant injury blow, with prized top draftee Izak Rankine set to miss two months of football after badly injuring his hamstring.
Scans have revealed the teenager suffered a tear to his intra-muscular tendon during the Suns' second JLT match against Sydney, meaning he is unlikely to feature in the first six weeks of the home and away season.
While the injury is a blow to both Rankine and the club, the Suns will be cautious with his rehabilitation, given it’s the player’s first major injury of his short career and believed to be his first ever hamstring injury.
The fact that Rankine’s game is also based on speed and explosiveness will add to the club’s cautious approach.
Former Hawk Cyril Rioli and Collingwood's Darcy Moore and Jamie Elliott are examples of explosive players who have suffered recurring hamstring injuries and in the former pair's case, from early in their careers.
In better news for the Suns, Rankine's fellow top draft pick Jack Lukosius is firming for a round one debut against St Kilda after completing a flawless pre season.
St Kilda defender Dylan Roberton has stepped away from football for a year because of his heart problems.
Roberton told his teammates Friday morning he would not play this year but he had not given up hope that he could overcome his heart issues and would reassess in 12 months time.
Roberton said he was not yet ready to retire and not prepared to give up the hope that he could find a solution to enable him to continue to play.
His decision came after meetings with his cardiologist and club doctors this week to analyse scans and data after another heart scare during Sunday's practice match against the Western Bulldogs.
