Looks like the hit is more to the shoulder than the face to me though I am watching on phone.

Interesting to see how it plays out, the only way he gets off is if they get it changed from intentional to careless.
More likely to change it to stupid or moron. Player should know by now that another player's face is "do not touch".

This is how David Grace QC should approach Yeo’s defence:-

Just go with insufficient force to be a classifiable offence. At best it'd a fine for misconduct, but there's insufficient force to be "low" impact.

The AFL counsel cannot use the potential to cause injury as justification as Guidelines states:-
"Low impact is the minimum impact required for a Classifiable Reportable Offence and this requires more than just a negligible impact."

Michael Christian has previously stated "To get to low impact we'd need to see the player out of the play for an extended period. Perhaps we'd need to see something in the medical report, and certainly some medical attention on the field".

Therefore if Collingwood doctors confirm he required no treatment and there's nothing in a medical report, it's an open and shut case.

Don't bother trying once again to argue it wasn't intentional like you did with McGovern as Guidelines state any strike behind the play, off the ball or out of play must be graded Intentional.

Hopefully he has learnt from his mistakes.

BRISBANE is facing a ruck shortfall for the foreseeable future following confirmation Archie Smith has suffered a syndesmosis injury.

Brisbane will be a new-look team to play Essendon at Metricon Stadium on Friday night with forward Dan McStay (suspension) and defenders Daniel Rich and Ryan Lester (both hamstrings) also missing.

Brisbane will likely turn to Sam Skinner, who played one match in 2017, untried Connor Ballenden, or rookie Tom Fullarton, who could be upgraded.

All three are key forwards that can back-up McInerney for small minutes.

So I guess I now own the sole Brisbane ruck?

Stand-in skipper Tom Doedee is recovering well from hamstring discomfort on Sunday following heavy contusions to the trunk and hip.

“Scans confirmed the defender sustained a high-grade contusion to the gluteals and were reassuring as to his hamstring health,” Saunders said.

Doedee is expected to train and be available for selection this weekend with a final decision will be made towards the end of the week.

“Tom, like all players, has four games to play in 16 days,” Saunders said.

“At the end of the week when we sit down to make a decision, we’ll be considering that with the entire list.”

I take it then it’s not a hammy and shouldn’t miss more than 1 of the next 4 if all goes to plan.

That sounds promising for both him and our Supercoach teams.
