Here is my latest update on how deep teams go on players v averages ... yep I know it doesn't tell the whole story each week but I sometimes get bored and like to track things out of interest ... cut off is based on my screen size !!

Thanks gents, some interesting responses and differences in strategy here!

By my count (admittedly subjective) I have a 12-3-15 structure, whereas Ken has 10-9-11 and I think Thanh has 8-12-10!!

I suspect if we avoid too many injuries, one extreme or the other will come out a clear winner by season’s end.

I'm looking at 17 non-rookies so I think I sit in between you and Ken at about 11- 6 - 13. Premos $480k up + Williams, Newman, Rocky, Brouch, Libba, Moore. My strategy was to load up in the mids on circa $500k ultra premo candidates... see how it goes.

Rightly or wrongly, I obviously loaded up in the rucks ... got it so wrong last year that I decided to go with this setup no matter what in all teams .... So really wasn't a strategy at all in the end ...

I loaded up in the mids then tried to fill the gaps with durable players...didnt give any consideration to a bye structure, so I am going to run into trouble, that was about the extent of my strategising

Head to Head Rowsus the scores are level after the first quarter. (I see the Thurs/Fri games as the 1st Q, the Sat arvo games as the 2nd Q, Sat night games as the 3rd Q and the Sun/Mon games as the 4th Q.)

Is the 1443 overall total, or is it the top 16 with the Capt score doubled so far?

Sitting on 1580 (without Capt score) with 8 to play (includes Cripps and Worpel).
Top 16 so far with the Capt score is 1517.
