Have settled on these trades this week and boosting CTW. Not a fan of any of the 2RF at the moment outside of Talakai And even he feels expensive at 500k and almost maxed out. Graham seems quite consistent with

Going Coates > Manu, B Smith > Graham, Tedesco > Taaffe.

Leaves 203k ITB and next week one downgrade in 2RF (Likely J King > B Jones, should provide me the funds to be able to go Schneider > Hynes

Penisini named at Left-Wing for the Eels. Very interesting. Raises his ceiling significantly imo and probably sneaks his way into my 17 vs the Tigers this week now.

Team news pretty uneventful other then that. Haas only suspended 1 week.

Play him mate. All sharks outside backs scored 85 or more except Talakai (59) against Tigers last week. You'd think Penisini goes over. 50 at worst

Have made two trades so far - Tualagi to Koula via Fermour and Teddy to Moses via Hynes. Leaves me with $152,500.00 in the bank and this team:


The goal will be to eventually be to get Fermour and Aitken back into CTW and hopefully bring in the Fifita, Murray Papallii types over the year. Hope I havent gone too sideways for now but worst case if Moses fails he should be near Cleary's price in the coming weeks for a straight swap. Working out who to C this week but thinking VC T. May into Moses at this stage.

Any thoughts welcome!

Don't mind those trades. Instead of trading Tualagi I would ideally look at cutting some of the deadweight from your squad in Schiller/Burbo/Vailea - having 3 near min-price NPR is not good at this time of season for cash generation. Schiller would be the one I'm cutting.

May into Moses is my captaincy strategy this week.

Settled on these final trades, using 1 boost. 3 Boosts left after this and doubt I use another one until Origin/Bye period.

B Smith > Cotter via Tago

Was lukewarm on Cotter at the beginning of the week, but he's grown on me quite a bit:

- Has Hooker eligibility and plays Round 13. Can be shifted when Randall maxes out in 2-3 weeks
- Cowboys bench is terrible this week - should easily see 50+ minutes even off the bench playing in the middle (They have a Hooker, a Centre Utility, a 2nd RF and Cotter
- Has really good PPM / offloading ability.
- Most importantly, leaves me 298k in the bank for next week where 1 downgrade of J King (likely to B Jones or FRF slow-burn noughie, gives me enough case in the bank to go Schneider > Hynes.

Leaves team looking like this:




Some tough reserve selections this week. Penisini sneaks into 17 playing Tigers. Taaffe an obvious play as goal-kicking FB vs Bulldogs. Schneider sneaks in as high-base goal-kicking half vs Cowboys. Fermor gets the last bench spot as 80 minute 2RF with attacking upside.

Koula/Ilias unlucky to miss out - just so many good match-ups this week. No floor with Ilias - think he's a good play but still very raw. Koula I would like to find a spot vs Titans, but again, can only play 17 this week.

Thanks mate! I think I'll take your advice! I agree that I've got some dead weight so will hold Tualagi another week and cut Schiller.

Annoying. At least he plays early in the round. Have the flexibility to switch him and JKing if it comes down to it.

Currently fielding W Penisini over new recruit B Taffe (fielding Taffe will require Coates to be traded instead of Tuilagi) and X Coates. Happy to listen to any compelling cases to switch to either.

Agree with fielding Penisini over Taaffe / Coates. Who are you fielding over Taaffe as reserve - I have him in my 17 currently over MKing, Ilias, Tuilagi, J King, Randall.

My logic = Goal Kicking FB for good team in really good match-up vs Doggies has very high upside.

Agree with fielding Penisini over Taaffe / Coates. Who are you fielding over Taaffe as reserve - I have him in my 17 currently over MKing, Ilias, Tuilagi, J King, Randall.

My logic = Goal Kicking FB for good team in really good match-up vs Doggies has very high upside.

1st half

decided there is no one in Raiders or Cowboys I want, even after trading in Cotter
They started him at prop. Looks like he's never played there before.

He wasn't bad, just wasn't as active as previously seen. Reckon he could've done the full forty without being out of breath. 16 pts.

Lolo, 29 pts, played the full 40.

Hiku, 11, reminds me of Staggs in those first few games

Nanai, 9, looks to have been a good decision to trade out

Dearden, 9, looks out of sorts

Raiders don't look too much better
Starling doing well

Let's hope points come our way in the 2nd half

Like the minutes from Lolo a lot. Not sold on Cotter, but he looked much better in that 2nd stint. Took 6-7 runs and much more involved in tackling. Looked more explosive in his runs as well. Not sure he's a walk-up 17 start. Expecting him to be upgraded a few points.

Foxsports has him with 24 tackles, NRL site has him with 33. Probably something in the middle.
