ABrayshaw vs Rowbottom
Paddles has been steadily improving, and I almost considered picking him myself in one trade option. Decided against it. Brayshaw has been scoring well, seemed to have been in the place of Viney the last few weeks. Not sure if that will continue. You may want to ask a Demons supporter that.

Brayshaw is a burn man on my never again list, but he can score much better than Rowbottom if given the right role. I would choose Rowbottom personally, mainly due to past history.

Witherden v Daniel

I like Daniel but his bye is really tricky :cautious:
You may have answered it. Depends on the rest of your team for R15. If you are confident you have a strong 18 besides Daniel, go for him. I think he'll outscore Witherden from here, and probably by enough to take a rookie score in 1 round if needed.

Haynes vs Williams

Big BE for Haynes this week but can’t wait. Can Williams body hold up and will he play every game. Extra $40k would come in handy as well.

Generally I would suggest staying well away from any Hawk, but Titch is the one possible exception. He hasn't got a lot of competition for points, Sicily and O'Meara out are big blows. Think the Hawks are going to go further downhill over coming games, if that's possible.

Fyfe on the other hand gets played forward too much and it probably cost them the game on the weekend. Not what you want to see if you select him.

Titch for me. Think he may have to step up, but there's a chance he goes the other way too with the club possibly being better off if they don't win games.

Yes, I picked Fyfe last week in this X v Y. I have changed my mind after the weekend.
If no covid they might have ended Mitchell's season early for shoulder surgery if still playing through pain.

Team will finish with one rookie on field Williamson or Rankine.

would you go Lloyd + likely May/BWilliams vs Bont + likely Haynes/Williams

Going League, so the likely players don't come in until best 22 back.

Looking at opponents for the two in finals, Lloyd has PTA, CAR, BRI, GEE, Bont has GEE, WCE, HAW, FRE. I prefer Lloyd for consistent scoring and based on those teams he should be seeing a bit of the ball - Carlton and Brisbane especially have kicked a lot of points in various games. I would rather rely on Lloyd for points to Bont - Lloyd has 10/11 100+ scores, Bont is 6/12.

Sicily/Yeo for:

Lloyd/Ryan and Parish/Brayshaw
v
Williams and Parker (+83k)

Leaning toward the latter as I'll need the cash to upgrade Serong and my F6. Considering this, there is also the option of:

Williams and Parish/Brayshaw + 164,100 to go straight from Serong to Parker et al. next week. Probably more at home in the trades thread, sorry. Didn't mean to ramble on, but while I am, I don't think can have Brayshaw in my team after last year.

Personally I feel as though Lloyd is a must have so I would do the option that involves him.

If that’s Angus Brayshaw then I can’t trust him as I’ve been burnt before. He’s playing a lucrative role at the moment but will that change? Maybe.

Lloyd and Parish for mine.

If cash is an issue, I'd favour the latter too, and I probably prefer this combo anyway. Bit too much uncertainty around Parish and Brayshaw for me. Williams is a bit of a injury risk, but you only need him for 6 rounds - around quarter of a regular season, surely he'd be a good chance to survive that. Parker is a consistent scorer, rarely below 100.

Devon for me. Aarts was awful to half time last week, got a bit lucky to score as well as he did. I have assumed it's just this week you want to keep one, not the whole season (you should be replacing both if you can).
Cheers,
with Aarts going it leaves me with a choice of Williams vs L.Mcdonald vs Mills as replacement for Sicily

McDonald is yet to have his bye which is why I didn't consider him. If you are just aiming for league wins, he's possibly the best choice though, like his draw, few tougher opponents mean there should be a bit of ball down back.

I would expect Williams to outscore Mills from here, not significantly though. Williams would be my choice if you want the best overall ranking.

thanks went williams over mcdonald as you said williams has history to back him up as safer option, have mcdonald in my draft keeper league so be happy if he keeps going in the form he is in as im trying for a 3peat this year
