First quick play. Patton and Titch way overs considering there time away from the game.
Anyways first of many
This will be a better discussion for later but Fyfe has said he will be trying to lessen the bash and crash / contested element of his game in the interests of extending his career. That must impact his average to some extent

First Team of the season and I'm already thinking of changes.
Don't think I'd like going that Light on in the midfield and still only batting 3 deep up fwd. Like the Greenwood pic but need to see him in the guts when jlt comes around. When there's evidence horse will let Heeney play majority in the guts he'll be my f2.

Yeah doing a bit of adjustment now. Will probably shunt Titchell to the upgrade pile (might pick Danger instead, losing DPP might entice an exodus away making him a POD, but not sure.

Looks like about 17 “keepers”... perhaps you are stretching for a bit to much value there? ?

Given everyone is showing so much love for low/mid priced "bargains" at the moment (even if it is very early days) I would take the opportunity to remind one and all of what our expectations are of these potential bargains. And to do that perhaps a read of one of my all time favourite posts written by KLo30. It is a few years old but still relevant.

Good colour, thanks.

I am a massive Fyfe fan and am always inclined to start him, but at that price and given his injury history, this year I think he’s the type of player I’d be more inclined to upgrade into.

Would be keen to some analysis of post Brownlow years as well - I think that more often than not, a player struggles to back it up

No I can’t find an article this time last year where he said it was time to pull back on the contested work

He was talking up changes to his outside match routine to get him on the park more often.

Well, I remember him saying that he has to be more conscience of the way he plays in order to try and play more games and protect his body.
