Discussion Round 13: Teams & In Game Discussion (Bye - BRL, COL, GEE, MEL, SYD, WCE)

A short turnaround in between rounds with a Thursday game to kick start Round 13 which will be the norm for the next 3 rounds.



After a relatively 'smooth' first bye round...now comes the 'fun' part where we get to fill our teams from our wish list over the next 2 bye rounds. Hopefully the Rookies will be available to help us to execute on our intended plan. It's widely accepted that trading over the next 2 rounds is pivotal in forming and/or completing our teams for the run home so use them wisely.

Prior to trades i'll have 18 available but that includes Scott and Young so in reality just the 16 available with 11 keepers but quite a few low end ones.

Don’t have the luxury of dropping several out of the 18 as I did in RD12 so it will be interesting to see how I fare this round.

Planned trades were Out: Smith, Stack & Larkey to Fyfe, Boak, Bewley.

But may rethink this and miss out on one of Fyfe/Boak and get Luke Ryan in defence instead.

Exactly what I said. Bloody Worsfold.

No way he should make way for anyone. Baguely out for Raz, and any number of underperforming senior "mids" out before Clarke - looking at you Zaka. Francis needs a stint in the twos.

Sounds like he may be in and out depending on if a tagger is required.

"That's a good question [if Clarke will play]. That's really specifically around match-ups and roles that we want in the team," Worsfold said.

"There's no guarantee that we'll use a tagger this week, but that doesn't mean Dylan doesn't play regardless.

"He has played as a run-with player in the VFL, but he's also played as a ball-winner, so we'll be weighing up the best team to take on the Hawks."
