Is it better to downgrade Draper, knowing he's got cash to make and will be handy next week with Grundy's bye, or Bont knowing he's out on bye and he's probably not going to maintain his 152 point three round average?

Draper can get me Willamson > Mills (combined with Bytel > Dow).

Bont can get me that too with a downgrade to Merrett (other options: Fyfe; Kelly will miss this week, and Adams will miss next week), though I'd have to trade out Bytel to a no name monkey mid or def instead but I don't think Dow (could be dropped) versus guaranteed zero should shift the needle.

In summary, (Draper + five games of Merrett) or (four games of Bont)? Any thoughts? Seems like the former is preferable, especially since it'll give me 19 players this week instead of 18?

Yep, I'd go with the former.

I've currently got Bell on my Fwd bench, with Schoenberg and Wicks on my Mid bench.

With Riccardi, I'd swing Bell into the mids, and have Riccardi as cover fwd.

So not essential, possibly hand for a loop. Might have a closer look at GWSs draw and possibilities for looping.

Otherwise Bell would stay forward and the donut would be on the mid bench. Brisbane's C.Lyons $104k. Brisbane late games every round.

I guess with the volatility of rookies and the schedule it might be good to have extra cover with Riccardi... but the extra cash could be handy in certain situations! Ah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know what I should have done now. Gone down to cheap donut and get Mrouch!
Either too much time to think, or not enough.

So frustrating. Can afford Danger, Adams...

Currently thinking
Sholl > Butts/BJ Williams (as D8 and potential 19-21 for this bye round)
Close > C Lyons as a 102.4k mid loophole
Schoenberg > M.Crouch which complete my side with 4 trades remaining
Slightly changed my trades, kept Sholl and traded Rivers to Williams, Matt Crouch is a good addition to my team tho

Either 2 or 3 trades this week. Lots of options in play and will need to see Round 15 prices and some teams before starting to whittle them down.

The Bont or Kelly to Neale is locked in. Stewart or B Smith are others who may get traded out depending on what trade in options fit my budget.

Gawn back in for Round 16 is tempting but it could be tough getting the dollars and trades to work with other problems elsewhere.
Stewart to Laird and Kelly to Merrett

Bont to Neale prior to the Lions game will be the 3rd this week.

My only trade this week will be Viney->JPK OR a 500-540k player.

All depend on what Draper can do to guess at what I’ll need for Gawn next week.

Can Dow from RIC keep getting games? Who is he keeping out?
Shane Edwards should be right for Round 18 after his isolation.
Prestia probably not back until finals.
The blokes most likely to challenge for his spot would be Stack and Higgins.
Stack was listed as a test this week on the injury report.
Higgins has come in this week for Lambert.
So could come down to how well Dow or Higgins goes for that sort of last spot in the midfield rotation.

EDIT: Caddy also listed as a week away with his hammy. Think he might've been dropped, or at least real borderline their 22 before getting injured anyway, and doesn't necessarily play that inside role in the mid rotation (more wing). But another pure number and experienced finals player who will be there or thereabouts you'd think as the Tigers ramp up to more settled side in the lead into finals.

Anyone have any thoughts on a cheap KPF to give the last few rounds a go? I'm looking at Jeremy Cameron given the GWS run, but of course the very rough can come with the smooth. I'm intrigued by the idea that Cameron has to average 103 for the next 4 games to hit an 80 average for the season...
Hi Jaca
Look, I know I was massively wrong with Blakely a few weeks ago and Gunston and Daniher were no good, but I've got an absolute cert this time. Don't tell anyone else, this is just between you and me.
