PLAYER OF THE WEEK - DEAN COX.
Club: West Coast
Number: 20
D.O.B. & Age: 1st of August 1981 (Age 31)
SC Position: Ruck
Round 19 Score: 190
Stats: 24 Disposals, 3 goals (14 Kicks, 10 H’balls)

Last 3 Average: 129
In a close fought win for the West Coast Eagles on Friday night Dean Cox produced another mammoth Supercoach score for his 93,969 owners. Cox was at his damaging best early with 3 goals in the first quarter to help set up the win where he monstered Geelong ruckman Orren ‘Big O’ Stephenson with 45 hitouts. Playing ruck/forward in tandem with Nic Naitanui the Eagles have arguably the two be Supercoach ruckmen in the game at their disposal. Cox continued his stunning season form with his 11th score over 100, his 7th over 130 which includes his career best of 215 against North Melbourne.
Having played a more in the forward line this year, although he is ageing, Cox looms as a potential dual position player next season and should still be on Supercoach’s watch list for next season.
