Could also be Haynes because he hurt his back in Q1 but that seems less likely.
There's also the issue of his nose being spread across his face early in the game that might be a factor.

He played out the game but came out of it pretty banged up with the nose and a nasty looking knee to the lower back area...

Yeah the way they pick these nominations each week is a little strange. Fogarty had the bigger game on the weekend but Allen has deserved a nomination for his season so far. Fogarty is a ripper though... They have to keep playing him.

Really stoked we have Allen, And surprised so many teams passed on him in his draft. He is a ripper kid, and has shown he is going to be an elite key forward in the years to come. Can see him Captaining the Eagles at some point down the road.

I saw Allen for the first time at the Carlton game a couple of weeks ago and was really impressed with his stand in ruckwork as well - had a couple of nice taps.

Add another 5 kgs on his frame and he'll be a ripper
