Comments: First 2 players for the Round go 324 and 184. :p After that, only Whitfield, Dangerfield, Fyfe and Grundy ton up! It's a miracle I even scored what I did, when my looped Rookie Mahony (95) is in my top 8 or 9 scores!
Of course, traded Noble out, when he's given himself the perfect Cash boost!
Planned Trades: Every player I plan to take next week, goes BIG this week! Welcome to that club, Duncan. I'm going to try and do some unusual BBL type trading through the byes. It may not help my poor ranking, but at least it might add some fun, to a poor season!

Comments: So here's my LONG essay. Firstly let's start with good. Biggest heroes this round are Dusty, Macrae, Titch da Beast, Neale & Whitfield. Just fabulous performances and helped me win all match-ups even though I screwed up my captaincy (Grundy) yet again this week. Glad I kept the faith with Dusty so special mention to him. Shout out to Pickett for another ton and also to McKay for somehow getting to 64, fairly average score for a rookie but I'll take any score like that knowing my track record for defensive rookies. Now on to the bad...in fact on to the VERY BAD  Simpkin what a bloody poor effort. Seriously this is very concerning. Probably can't afford to trade him out at the moment as I'm working on other parts of my team. Speaking of other parts...Greenwood...grand total of freakin' ZERO tackles???? Shocking score. Will have to stick with him for now as well. D.Smith...poor score after such a good start...will likely be out of my team in a few weeks. Lastly Rankine...horrible score but will give him the benefit of the doubt this week as this was bound to happen at some point.
Planned Trades: Starcevich, McInerney & Budarick will all likely make way for T.Stewart and two other rookies. Not sure who yet as I don't know if there's any good targets. Next round is another must win match-up for me in all my leagues. Just can't afford anymore losses at this stage. Here's hoping the SC gods can give me another injury free round like this.

Trades kkp devon vandermer out Whitfield Adams Close in
Comments
Ok not gonna lie, I'm a little bit devo.

Here's what i posted in the trade thread as my options.

1. Devon/Starc to lloyd/whitfield
gives me the best def, but I'm paying full price and he has a bye in 2 weeks, then Syd play GWS does De Boer go to lloyd? plus bank blown totally for next week.
2. KKP/Starc to Bell (F/M)/Lloyd
like above, but have $240k for next week. would then target simpkin next week and a mid.
3. KKP/Starc to Bell (F/M)/stewart
No lloyd. would then target simpkin next week and a mid upgrade as would be left with $$$ in the bank

I went with option....... none of the above. Devon and kkp out ADAMS and Whitfield in. The x vy then of starc Adams v Devon Stewart or lloyd cost me up to 98 points and 25th overall and only 310 points from the leader. It was 650 points 2 round ago..

Anyway we live we learn... or do we? Ill tell ya tomorrow after i trade sic for Stewart, then reverse it then who knows. Adams should be ok long term but ahhhhhhhh painful.

Currently have 21 available next week with 15 prems. Might sideways, might one up, either way all in when I'm this close! Currently projected for 2,011 next week pre trades so very interesting what move i should do from here and if 2,011 is enough to hold rank but preferably move up. Lucky i did all that bye planning pre season hahaha.

Good luck all!

Trades In: Daniel, Petracca, Close
Heroes: Dusty, Macrae, Neale, Cripps, Whitfield, Ryan, Coniglio, Grundy (But not as C), Serong, (Pickett, Mahony, Aarts)
Villains: Gawn, McCluggage, Smiths B&D, Rankine.
Comments: Happy with how the weekend ended given my faux pas on Wednesday night when I must have accidentally cleared my bench emergencies just before lockout. It meant my planned loops, Pickett and Aarts, just sat there looking pretty, and there was nothing I could do! Fortunately with other rookies going well, it only cost me 48 points.
My rookies went so unexpectedly well, that some I was planning to trade out have kick started their cash making again. I now have the heart wrenching decision with Rankine being my rookie with a significantly higher BE than any of my others.
I am not looking forward to this next round due to having so many defenders out that it means I will only be fielding 19 or 20 players at best ... unless Rivers appears from nowhere.

Planned Trades: Ceglar out with Duncan & Stewart in. I would love to grab Draper, but I might need to look at a cheap defender instead, and get him next week. It will be a headache determining which two rookies I cull.

Villains: My entire defense (63 - 94), Greenwood (69), Gawn (87), Simpkin (56), Georgiades (55), Rankine (34)
Comments: Rubbish. Thought I was getting to a decent side, looks like most people have a much better side still. Only left 16 points on the bench, and 66 by making the wrong captain choice, so couldn't have done a lot better.

Way too many below average scores, not enough 100+ scores like everyone else.

Planned Trades: Trade ins are likely still Duncan, Stewart and Draper. Trade outs are still probably Smith, Egg and a rookie, but will look at what I do further in my lunch break tomorrow.

Trades Out: Titch, Walters and Doedee
Trades In: Petracca, Oliver and B Smith
Heroes: Macrae, Neale, Whitfield, Cogs, Grundy, Haynes, Oliver, Boak, Treloar and Noble. 😁
Villains: Gawn and Brodie Smith
Comments: There were heaps of massive scores this week, well done to all. For me, It started with a thought, a shortcut, oh no, a sideways trade, 1 week early to avoid a bye player donut. So as you can see, I thought I'd be smart and trade Titch out, lost 50 points on that trade, traded Petracca in for Walters, that turned out ok, then Doedee being out and not knowing if Noble would be selected, I brought in Smith for the 2nd time this year, as he had been playing better, on ball and wing. Unfortunately he kicked a ball on the boundary line, with his follow through contacting another player, which saw him potentially hyper extending his knee, so he was off the ground for a fair bit of time. When he did come back on, he really couldn't get into the game, Nth dominated the game, so he wasn't alone. I had enough money to go Doedee to Stewart, but, that's history now. Disappointed with Hammill, Taylor and Rankine all onfield spudding up, had King on the bench trying to come on. Now that my FD in Close is playing, I can't loop in the forwards, as everyone's playing, King, Georgiades. Anyway these last 2 weeks has seen me drop in rankings from 1300 odd to 5528. I have 24 available this round and need to make more vanilla captain choices, Grundy didn't work, should have left it on Neale.

Planned Trades: TBA, 1 up 2 down, only $15k itb.[/ATTACH]

Comments: Special shout out to Noble, a very unexpected ton. Was on my trade list this round, but he can stay another week or 2..
C on Macrae again set me up for a good start, but Saturday was a killer with too many premos not firing.

I held Walters & Doedee and hopefully they return in the next 2 rounds.

Played it safe with my trades and kept Simpkin, should have gone with my heart and traded him out.
He’s :poop: in my team for the last 3 weeks and will be gone this week.
Also baulked at getting Watson over Ling without knowing if he’s in or out.
Looking at the Duncan, Stewart and Draper trifecta for incoming trades this week.

Toby Greene will be my 7th injury trade so far (6 from my original side).

Seriously considering trading out Grundy.

Heroes : Cripps , Whitfield , Grundy , Parker , Kelly , Noble , TJL , Mahony (bench) , Laird , Docherty

Villians: Bazlenka , Kev , Hurn (new recruit) , Ladhams , Tobias

6 players in the 80's

My 3 trades worked in Close , Hurn & Parker all due to Brander , Brown & Heeney not playing.

Like the majority Duncan & Stewart will be coming in.

As for Collingwood , words escape me

Congrats to all the massive scores , even with Gawn low Macrae , Martin , Mitchell & Neale all go bang together.

Made a horrendous start to the season with all premos underperforming, my challenge for the season is the see how high I can eventually get after hitting my highest overall position of 85,918 at the end of Round 3.

Round 3: 85,918
Round 4: 80,996
Round 5: 70,579
Round 6: 60,595
Round 7: 46,061
Round 8: 31,874
Round 9: 26,046

Of course this was the week I finally bit the bullet and traded NicNat to Gawn… but otherwise happy with how quickly I am moving through the field.

Comments: Lots of so, so scores contibuted to the rank slide this week, 6 under 80 and 4 80-90 along with 5 over 120. Most of my bench rookies scored better than the ones on the field, Noble (who I looped out for McKay), Simpson, Mahoney, Cameron and Georgiades (boh scored better than on-field rookies in Taylor and Rankine.

Numbers for this week pre-trades are good, with 21 likely to be available, so numbers not a problem, but Sicily, Titch and Docherty are the ones un-available.

Planned Trades: Considering Sicily, Rankine and Taylor out and Draper, Stewart and either Whitfield/Duncan in. Probably leaning towards getting Whitfield in over Duncan as I feel FWD line has the weakest rookie on-field. Simpkin is a problem, but probably have to ride him out and hope his disposal efficency gets better.

Comments: Happy with the gain in ranking again and TJL taking the threat of being dropped having a loopable score after being benched.
Planned Trades: Need to research BE's and then think about how I think trade in options will perform for the rest of the season (hopefully better than my two premo trades did this week) but Stewart WILL be an inclusion.

Villains: A few but not totally unexpected.
Comments: Got off to a flyer with Dustry, Macrae and even Pickett tonning up for me. Needed to win my 2 main leagues to keep me in finals contention, so decided to trade aggressively 1UP 1Down and 1 Sideways. Thought Laird may offer some value and decided to go a bit left field with Cunningham, who seems to have benefited with JPK and Heeney out. Very happy with my score and continues my surge up the rankings.
After Round 1 I was in 82109th position. Upon resumption decided I had nothing to lose so have traded hard, even trading Grundy out.
Made it to 5274th so will continue to use trades at a maximum rate. I am banking on the fact that we may well get a few more trades added depending on future fixturing. :sneaky:
Planned Trades: Along with everyone else who dosen't have Stewart, he seems a no brainer. Was keen on Duncan but with Danger, Jelwood, Menegola and the like, I'm just not sure. Will probably trade Pittonet out to Draper for a cash grab and hope if he can post a couple of 70's to 80's will trade him up to either a Grundy (depending on how he is travelling) or maybe Goldy. Will need to choose this weeks trades wisely. I really wish I knew what was coming up after Round 12.

Comments: Seeing Mahony's spike score and Serong coming of age helps to brighten up my prospect for the coming rounds.
Planned Trades: Have too many permutations going at the moment, everything from the 'traditional' to the 'extreme' BBL style which is banking on further additional trades being granted post R12. Good thing is, I don't have too much time to mull over them so may just go with what feels right at the time.

Fantastic to see so many coaches & leagues on the first page of the overall rankings.

Comments: A few ripping scores, coupled with many reasonable scores, coupled with some repeat offenders dishing up howlers, mean't I pretty much held ground, just a minor drop in the overall rank. Went very aggressive at the trade table, knew going into the round Cripps would hurt me, he did, every single one of those free kicks he got given, was always going to happen though. Happy to not be on the Yeo roller coaster, that would've been the end of me watching his score go backwards. Will remain aggressive over this next period, would love the next block of fixtures to come out to help reinforce some of my plans. Would have loved Stewart and Duncan to not put up quite as large scores over the weekend as they will be targets for me, like many others, this week.

Planned Trades: Be aggressive, play similarly to BBL, will just back my gut on calls, have fun, and see how it goes getting me through this season, if I come up a premium or two short come the last round or two I'll at least be content with going with a slightly different strategy to what I'd normally do.
