Do Richmond now play 2 rucks against Gawn?
I was going to bite the bullet and trade in Gawn but does this give me a weeks grace.
There are other trades I would prefer to do. Can I have 5 trades this week?

I know he should be a priority and it's gonna hurt not having him but I can't justify Gawn right now. It would mean either trading out Pittonet or having Pittonet on the bench. Neither makes sense.
At some point over the next 3-4 weeks I think Pittonet owners will need to cash-in. Running him on the bench for a couple of weeks isn't the end of the world. I feel nervous not having Gawn and will likely bring him in this week (Fyfe to Gawn), and run Pittonent as R3 for another 1-2 weeks.
You will likely need $250K-$300K to upgrade Pittonet to Gawn (from $450K/$500K to $700k/$750K) which won't be easy to find, which is why I may jump this week.

I have Gawn, Grundy and Pittonet and think having Pittonet on thebench I see okay on the basis that it's just short term.

Unless he has another big score I reckon he should have c. 2 more meaningful price rises in him before being traded, so you're really only investing an incremental c. $280k for say 2 weeks. That's maybe 112 points assuming you can fruitfully invest all of the loose change in incremental points, which is probably not the case given rookies outscore their price. Definitely a consideration, but not a deal breaker in my view.

His opponents after this week aren't guaranteed now. I'm happy to hold off a few.

@Connoisseur can I trouble you for Gawn’s interstate average? I recall in one season it was very good but not sure if it was an anomaly! Thanks!
M Gawn:
Interstate from 2015-current (2015= 1st season of 95+):
2015: 86 from 2 (66+106)
2016: 149.86 from 7 (172+174+167+116+141+128+151)
2017: 110.25 from 4 (113+57+111+160)
2018: 133.71 from 7 (97+148+114+140+151+130+156)
2019: 130.57 from 7 (113+109+144+158+46+132+212)
2020: 93 from 1
= 128.75 from 28 (5/28 below 100, 16/28 120+, 13/28 140+, 5/28 160+)

16 120+
81.25% (13/16 140+) of those 120+ have become 140+
38.46% (5/13 160+) of the 140+ turned into 160+.

Excellent mate! I think 2016 was the year I was thinking of. They look good for all years except 2017 (which was his injury year).
