Hello all, it is back :)

The Lock and Load Comp - IV

ENTER HERE:
ENTRY DATES:
  • Team submissions start now - It is possible to enter a zillion times, however, only your last completed (legal) and submitted team prior to the comp entry window closing will be considered as your official entry. That means you can enter or redo your team right up to the final siren of the last game of the 2nd round.
  • Comp Final Entry date end of Round 2's last game - (should be Sunday, March 28 final siren of Freo v Giants)
RULES:
  • Select your 30 players - the same as you do in SC under the salary cap. This includes 8 defenders, 11 mids, 3 rucks, and 8 forwards. No need to separate bench players as all players are "Live".
  • Submit your team here: https://forms.gle/xvm9oaJXdLjpTVx4A
  • Your highest scoring player will score double captain points.
  • Your highest 16 scoring players count towards your total score for the round, regardless of positions.
  • There will be at least two comps - total points and the H2H knockout competition. The total Points Prize Comp will run from Round 3 to 23 and the H2H will occur during the season depends on the number of teams entered and other factors. You will be notified here.
  • Lastly, the competition has no trading! Just 'Lock and Load' and follow your team selection through the year here.
Prizes and Cost:

No Costs and no prizes - apart from the honour and glory of owning the title (... and your opponents)!

Still have no idea on what strategy is best to use here , try and find 18-19 "reliable" scorers or still have a sprinkling of the premium gun scorers.

Probably find half a dozen $ 102 k players.

It's good being able to pick some players that you would like to pick in your "normal" team but are too frightened to try.

I guess the best part is once the comp starts , you have no control of what happens so no stress at all.

As long as I don't come 16th (or was it 17th) every round , can't remember.

I think 18 - 19 scorers is the way to go with a mix of Super Premos (for captain scores) down to mid pricers. Don’t forget that this team goes in after Round 1 so at least we get some more idea after watching some rookies play a game and know which ones got named as emergency so might be close.
