Recall Willey taking a catch as a sub a few seasons back and was awarded 10 points (and the subsequent price drop). Don't see how Cooper is any different in this cirumstance.

Probably still have the email regarding that one , even incorrectly changed his price.

Can never access the rules for point scoring on my phone , my understanding is that substitute fielders are not awarded points.

At the time of the catch , Cooper was a substitute fielder.

Once he was X-Factored in he can then be allocated points for any actions.

Maybe I understand the definition of substitute and X-Factor differently to others.

Points are awarded based on a participant’s Starting 11 players and any “emergency” who replaces a member of the participant’s Starting 11. An emergency will also replace a player who is named in the starting 11 for the team batting first, but is substituted OUT of the match under the X-Factor supersub rule. The player being substituted IN and ALL substituted players from the team bowling first will not be replaced by emergencies and will be deemed to have played in the match.

A substitute who comes on and off the field temporarily (i.e. fielding) in a match will NOT be deemed to have played, and will NOT be awarded any points. "
