Ok - I'm ready to go after a nicely spent mulligan.

I think these are ok, yes?

Zach Merrett (514,100) with Grundy (645,900) par
Mitch Robinson (500,400) with Jack Macrae (677,600) as par
Lachie Neil (556,400) with Josh Kelly (614000) par
(if Josh out Kelly stays out - Then Toby Greene (538,600) with Rowan Marshall (598,800) as par
(if both Josh and Rowan out - Then James Worpel (539,600) with Adam Treloar (633,200) as par

Last weeks golf was fun, but some found it a bit hard to look at, and think about.

With that in mind, I've tried to simplify the process.

We're playing Stableford. For those unfamiliar with the concept, it is a golf scoring competition, that limits damage for really bad holes/scores.

I've selected 15 of the most expensive players, and I have set ranges for their par scores.
You are required to select at least 3, and as many as 15, and tell me if you think they will score "Under" or "Over" the par range I have set.

If the player/s you select select score within the par range I have set, you score 2 points.
If you correctly predict the player will score under/over the par range:
you recieve 3 points if the player is 1 - 10 points under/over par
you receive 4 points if the player is 11+ under/over par
If you incorrectly predict the player will score under/over the par range:
you recieve 1 point if the player is 1 - 10 points under/over par
you receive 0 points if the player is 11+ under/over par.

Your score will be totalled, and divided by the number of players you chose, to give your average score.
Be a little faint hearted, and only pick 3 players, or throw caution to the wind, and play all 15!!!!

Entries are made by completing the form on the following link:

Entry Form Here

Once ANY of your players games have started, all your selections are locked in, until then, you can edit your selections, but be warned, I can see when you have done that, so no sneaky editing of your selections, after one of your players has started!!!!
 No one would do that, would they?!
This way, I can publish peoples selections, once their first pick has started, and there is no need to fear others riding on your coat tails.

You will find a summary of the players, and their score ranges below.

Entries only accepted by using the correct entry form.

Lockout is at the start of the first game on SUNDAY!!!!!
So if you find this late, you can still play!

PRIZES

If we get 10-19* people that enter each of the next 6 weeks (Rnd 22, Rnd 23, 4 weeks of finals)
The winner will receive free entry into a $20 SCS Cash League next season.

If we get 20+* people that enter each of the next 6 weeks (Rnd 22, Rnd 23, 4 weeks of finals)
The winner will receive free entry into a $50 SCS Cash League next season.

The winner is determined by adding all the scores recorded by that participant, and dividing by the number of selections made by that participant. ie. the average of all the selections made across the 6 weeks of the competition, not a weekly total score average.
To claim the prize, you must participate in all 6 weeks. If you miss a week, still submit your entry and play, just for the fun of it!

That means the winner will have made a minimum of 18 selections across 6 weeks, and a maximum of 90 selections.

* refers to the number of people that have competed in all 6 weeks!!!!

6 responses in so far, which this early in the week is pretty good!

Interesting that:
Every player listed has had at least 3 people use them in their selections.
14 out of the 15 players already have both the Under option, AND the Over option taken by at least one person!!!!

That last stat is crazy but makes things really interesting.

I’m feeling like there is 1 player in particular that people COULDN’T pick the over on ;)

@Rowsus

In your table (post #2), should Gawn, Grundy & Fyfe 0 or 4 points be <=115 instead of the <=111 in your table...?

Damn Cut & Paste!
Make one error, and it spreads it everywhere!
Fixed now, thanks for the heads up, T.

10 Entries in so far.
One or two have submitted "corrections", which is fine.
One player is very popular, with 9/10 entries using him in their selections.
At the opposite end, there are four players sitting on 4/10 entries using them.
All 15 players now have someone picking them as an Under.
"Only" 14 players have someone picking them as an Over.

Remember, entries close at the first bounce on Sunday!
