New tournament announced for 3rd of May (2 weeks) and registration is open now.

- 10k starting stacks
- 10 minute blinds
- 6 handed
- no breaks

Tonight's game ran 2 hours and 11 mins so not as short as everyone thought but it did feel a bit rushed with the way the blinds caught up to you so will go to 10 minutes and see how that works.

EDIT: 3rd May

probably dumb to jam once the board paired but hard not to be greedy in that spot.

Big fold there, Mike. I think I go into the tank for a little while but make the call there. It’s the sort of hand where I usually would say to myself “if they have AK, they have AK”. Same principle for when you’re being pushed all in with KK pre-flop and you have to say to yourself “if they have AA, they have AA”.

A lot easier said than done from where I am though!

I was thinking that but then i raise, they shove, and there's a call behind then i'm in no better position (worse actually) if i have one of them on AK. But upon review probably nitty there. I play tournaments a bit different to cashies, where i'd shove in a cashy no probs but in that spot i tend to fold (rightly or wrongly) and look to find a better spot to stack off when im not against the two big stacks.

Yeah fair comparison with KK and AA and tbh i don't think i've folded KK pre, maybe once lol

I wonder if i would've felt better about calling and seeing AK vs folding and not seeing AK :ROFLMAO:
