Had 2 trades left in Tissot, after last night started. Was watching the race, and thought - will make the two trades now.

Got rid of Gall and Del Toro. Haven't brought anyone in yet, but wished I'd waited another hour, then I could have offloaded WVA... No trades left now :(

After a scare, O'Connor holds red for another day but looks like Landa is gone from the GC picture.

Tough finish tonight will probably see O'Connor lose red and then Saturday will shake things up again before the final time trial.

I'd love to see Ben finally get a podium, but he is going to lose time over these last few stages. He just needs to limit that loss. Hopefully he can hold on. Can't see him winning, as he'll almost surely lose time on the TT as a minimum, even if he can somehow hold on to red over these final mountains.

Roglic with nearly 2 mins lead after Stage 19, he has this wrapped up barring a crash. Going to be interesting to see if O'Connor can stay ahead of Mas and Carapaz for second, as Stage 20 looks another challenging mountain stage. None of the three are great at TT's, so not sure if any will gain/lose much time there.

Not sure what's he got left in the tank, but a long day of climbing may suit him more than the short explosive climbs they've had in the last few stages.

Either way should be a good stage tonight (and an 8.50pm start on Viceland).

Jay Vine will win the KOM classification, assuming he finishes the race from here. Great to see after the year he has had. Two jerseys for Aussies with Groves winning the Points category and hopefully a podium in the GC for O'Connor is a very good result. (We don't have anyone eligible for the youth jersey).

Bit of a fizzer of a stage... Expected Mas or Carapaz to try something. Most interesting bit was Vine and Soler fighting out the KOM.

I'll be honest, until I added up the scores, I thought I probably would have finished second behind Bonaparte due to not picking Groves, however O'Connor holding onto second overall just got me over the line. Two crucial DNF's who everyone selected kept scoring a lot lower than usual in this one, however it also kept scores fairly tight.

No changes to the overall standings with that event. I would expect there to be little change from here, however there are still a reasonable amount of points available in the remaining races - over 2000 in each one if you can manage to select the podium.

Reminder that the World Championships are the next two events to be held. The ITT will be held next weekend, and the Road Race the following weekend. You pick three riders per event, and there are no restrictions on selections.

The Olympics were a bonus race, like the National Championships. If you did well (unlike me), you'll get a visual reward from it which will last for the next four years. Still finalising these, will likely update in the next couple of days.

Less than 24 hours until the World Championships ITT. Just the two entries so far.

Not expecting a heap of unique picks in this event to be honest, however the road race selections should be a lot more varied.
