Apologies for the lack of updates lately. I'll get this up to date this weekend, just not getting a chance to update mid week right now.

Adam Yates won the Montreal event. Two selected him, but with nobody selecting the others on the podium, it will be another race which won't change the overall standings.

The Vuelta continues after the second rest day later tonight. There's been some interesting results over the last week - it may end up as a Jumbo Visma 1-2-3 in the final standings, and I doubt many would have predicted Kuss to be the overall leader at this point pre tour.

Interesting to see how tonight plays out... not sure Kuss is going to hold onto the overall lead.

I'm starting to think my idea of combining usernames with the same selections / scores might not have been the best idea...

No change to the overall standings, I'll update them after the Vuelta, which finishes tonight. Final results for the Vuelta will likely be posted mid week.

ITT, no real surprise with the stage winner.

Vuelta a Espana Stage 11 Results:

The breakaway survived to the end, we never score well in those stages.

Vuelta a Espana Stage 12 Results:

Molano gets one back against Groves in the sprint battle

Vuelta a Espana Stage 13 Results:

Evenepoel lost the race in this stage, losing 27 mins to Vingegaard.

Vuelta a Espana Stage 14 Results:

...and on the very next stage Remco regained 8 of the 27 minutes he lost, but had changed focus to KOM and stages at this point rather than overall GC.

Vuelta a Espana Stage 15 Results:

In the final stage before the second rest day, it was another stage for the breakaway.

As mentioned above, I will update the results of the final week of the race in a few days time.

Leaderboard with 2 events remaining:

1695354690353.png

Dravid takes the lead, and with just two events to go for the year, is in a strong position to hold onto that lead. Il Lombardia is to be held in a couple of weeks time on 7 October, with the Tour of Guangxi the following week to wrap up the season.

I'm strongly considering cutting a few events from the calendar for next season (Limiting it to the 3 Grand Tours, World Championships, 5 Monuments, and 7 main tours). This would limit it to the main events for the year only - from 37 events to 17. There will be scoring changes as well to balance things out a bit between events, but overall, it's not too far off what I wanted to see.

There was a suggestion to add women's events to the calendar, which I am not opposed to. What are the thoughts on this? I seriously considered adding them this year, but wasn't sure how popular they would be. If there's enough support, I'm happy to add the major events to the calendar for 2024. I must admit, I'm not as familiar with the women's tour, so I don't know exactly which events are the major ones (they appear to mostly be similar to the men's), but I can do my best to work that out.

I'm talking overall.
You were beating me up until this last race, and I've somehow won the TDF fantasy for the last two years. It's not an easy sport to pick, I think everyone is doing really well. One or two bad picks can really cost you, it's just a shame those bad picks have been in higher scoring events for both of us which is why we are currently at the wrong end of the table.

I've enjoyed it.
I like the set up in regards to top 12/13 races, it gives hope to carry on, if you miss a few
