15 minutes until my draft.

14 team league
22 player teams (5-7-1-5/4) - we wanted a deep league to separate the men from the boys, which we'll probably regret in the late rounds.

I've got pick 10. Am i bonkers for grabbing Stef if available, assuming Grundy and Gawn are already taken?

A captain is a priority.

So yeah, steph martin, went at pick 16, but if most of those that went before goldy would be pretty tempting (cept Lloyd) for P1. Oh, Harmes (rnd 15) went super late. Good luck

I feel like Westhoff could be an interesting pick, with a view to grabbing Mummy late when no one is really looking at him.

Is it a snake format as you could wait and grab Goldy in the 2nd round if available.

11/12 will look to grab Goldy/Martin if available after taking a captain... nank (rnd 5), witts rnd 8 didn't go till much later....

I feel like Westhoff could be an interesting pick, with a view to grabbing Mummy late when no one is really looking at him.

Grabbed Dusty with my 2nd pick to give me a little time to think.

T Hickey, M Kreuzer and S Darcy could also be good late round picks regarding rucks.

Yeah all the rucks have gone now so i'm going to gamble and stack the rest of my lines. Seems like there isn't too much to gain going early now because what's available are around the 90 mark.

Sinclair, Witts, TBC, Sauce, Lycett, McEvoy, Ryder, Lobb, Sandi/Darcy, Hickey, Kreuzer/Phillips all left.

I like it. We're half way through the third round and i reckon i could wait another 2 rounds until i grab one. Or do you think handcuff early? I've never held off on a ruck this long before and i'm nervous!

Bottom team is mine. Was a 12 person $50 draft (so pretty competitive (only 1 person really doing it on the fly while out) draft.

Let it go... don't need to start handcuffing until late. Good forwards and defenders seem to disappear quickly...

Also, if you have auto emergencies, you just want 1 or 2 good playing bench sitters, so non-playing ones like Ward/Gaff if later like say rnd 7-10 are gold.

Perhaps. I filled out to R1 to M6 (see the bottom team I posted above). It does mean that others get better forwards/defenders, I just backed myself to find some value...but I do think some of the other teams ended up better Esp Yellow and Black...

Just finished my first ever draft and ended up with the team below. Had pick 12 (of 12) in a banzai draft, took Crouch 1st then Laird 2nd (facepalm).

It was alot trickier than i thought it would be and 1 minute on the clock doesn't last too long!

Funnily enough, i'm up against Jay in round 1 who has the team below. Doc was an auto pick when he was AFK lol

In hindsight, a second gun mid would've been nice as Laird/Hibbo would've still been available with my 3rd pick. Took JPK then so lost whatever pts between Oliver/Zerrett/Neale and JPK, which hopefully isn't too much. Thoughts? I think i should be at least competitive

A lot of very bad round 1 picks there. I think you have rnd 1 in the bag! Laird is not bad, as Laird-D6 might be better than Oliver-m8, but I think I would have taken oliver as he is captain capable...
