Tear Up $20 Series 3 - Round 23 Results Up.

Series 3 will be a combination of Series 1 and Series 2.

In Series 3 you select 3 players for yourself, and 1 player for your opponent, with the following restrictions.
2 of the 3 players you choose for yourself must cost $450,000 or more each.
The 3rd player you choose for yourself is an open selection, no restrictions.
The player you pick for your opponent must be $450,000 or more.

Add up the prices of the 4 players you now have playing for you. The 3 you chose, and the one your opponent chose for you.
You get your first $1,500,000 for free, then every dollar your team is worth over this amount, you will have 0.00022 deducted from your score.

It will be a Round Robin series, with the last 3 Rounds being elimination rounds, leaving one winner.

The default picks and substitute rule will be posted later in the week.

$20 to play, and after the site receives it's $20 towards running costs, it will be winner takes all.

Ok, this hopefully answers all the possible scenario's, including jaca's above.
First the simple rule. Everybody will have 4 players in each match, no matter what. This covers late outs, and failure to submit tips as well. Here is how I propose we achieve that:

Home team default tips:
If someone playing as the home team fails to submit their tips, they will be given:
The player closest to, but over $450,000, that is playing this week.
The player 4th closest to, but over $450,000, that is playing this week.
Their unrestricted player will be the player closest to, but over $300,000, that is playing this week.
The player they give to their opponent will be the player closest to, but over $500,000, that is playing this week.

Away team default tips:
If someone playing as the away team fails to submit their tips, they will be given:
The player 2nd closest to, but over $450,000, that is playing this week.
The player 3rd closest to, but over $450,000, that is playing this week.
Their unrestricted player will be the player closest to, but under $300,000, that is playing this week.
The player they give to their opponent will be the player closest to, but under $500,000, that is playing this week.

If one of your players is a late out, you have the option of replacing that player, but you may not choose a player your opponent has already chosen. If you don't notice the late out, and/or fail to pick a replacement, then you will recieve a pick fitting the default rules above. That pick will be made from the players in the last game of the Round, to give you every chance to choose your own replacement.

The first 3-4 weeks we play each other once, playing 2 games/round
The 4 bottom teams on the ladder will be eliminated with 3 rounds to play, leaving 4 teams.
Those 4 teams will then play as a group. Each week the lowest scoring team will be eliminated, leaving 1 team the winner after Round 23, and winning the $140 prize.
