I think the time trial quiz question is referring to stage 1... but not sure.

Do we have a league for this btw? It made me make a new account so I assume we'll need a new league also.
Seems like it based on last years times

I'll give someone else a chance to win this one, would love to join, just absolutely swamped at work after taking two weeks off. I'll be working all weekend just to catch up, no time for new fantasy comps unfortunately.

Possibly worth tagging in a few regulars from the TDF comp to get some interest? It looks like there are more realistic winning chances in this one than there were in the Tour, so it should be a good race!

Stage 1

Hello, yes, they will each receive 1/8th of the points obtained thanks to their team's final position in the time trial (example: 1st position for the team = 200 pts / 8 = 25 pts for the rider).

Geraint mentioned there's a chance the riders union agree to a GC cease-fire prior to the ascent of the final circuit today (assuming race organisers don't implement a neutralisation themselves).

If this eventuates, almost no chance someone like Rogla or Remco will get stage honours.

GC standings will be based on the times at the top of the final climb (about 3.5 km from the finish). The stage winner will still be whoever crosses the finish first.

I don't think there will be many competitive downhill stage finishes / last few kms any more after the fatality earlier this year on a similar finish.

Edit: A similar situation occurred in the final stage of the Renewi Tour today, riders protested that the final 5 km were unsafe so stopped riding, the organisers agreed to take GC standings at the top of the final climb.
