Flat start does lend itself to a couple of sprinters getting in the break for the intermediate sprint and then dropping back. I imagine it's going to be tough to get in and it'll be a lottery trying to pick who gets in there! Ciccone is an interesting one... not sure he's lost enough time to be given free reign?

From an Aussie perspective maybe Matthews or Haig can get in.
You are probably right. Thought Ciccone was more than 5 and a half minutes back. He probably is a bit close still to be given a lot of latitude, but they may still let him go.

With the intermediate sprint prior to the first climb, it might take a while for the break to establish, although it's really only Girmay and Philipsen with much interest in those points now. Most sprinters will probably save energy for Stage 12/13 and let a break go.

Genuinely torn this stage as to whether captain Abrahamsen or Pog. I think Ab is a good chance to be in the break but Pog a good chance to come over the top at the end. However also a good chance that neither happens.
