Pog too good, yet again. He made up a lot of time on that last climb, around 3 1/2 mins in the last 10 k's over some very strong climbers. Very impressive, and you won't ever see many others ride like that.
It's generally announced about 15 mins before the end of the stage. Carapaz did initially miss the break and had to ride across, and took first on the first two climbs. With little to split them before Jorgenson broke from the lead pack, it was fair enough up until then. It was announced who won on PCS 6.5K's after Jorgenson broke away from the lead group though, when he had a 30+ second lead, so I thought he was a bit stiff too (also an owner).
I actually thought when I saw the time band that they would struggle to make the 42 minutes. This was after watching the Lanterne Rouge podcast, where they were estimating over 43 minutes, so the time band is definitely weird.
