Relevant to me because I have Drew in a keeper league and will have to make a decision to cut or keep before next season... does anyone see Drew becoming a permanent fixture in the PA team next year?
I'm no Port expert, but I'd be holding in a keeper league. Really, really liked what I saw from Drew last year, and as the stats indicate they were more effective with him in the side and in the middle compared to when some of the other 'bigger names' were in.

In my keeper league the coach that has Drew will be unlikely to trade him due to having an ageing midfield, however, I'm playing to target Joe Atley as I think he and Drew can hopefully step up and get more games next year.

to me that would be almost as bad for him as going back to Gold Coast....
Melbourne aren't that bad, I think he just wants a lifeline and is considering all offers. He would definitely compliment their list and add a bit of speed.

In a long term keeper league (Too Serious - 9 years so far) I grabbed Drew as a FA last year. I am happy holding him as M7 or M8.

OK Spots/*******, that fills some pieces in. Me glamas in ORFFL and cows in ORFFA. Two less players in FL may be against holding him? Cutting six is pretty "savage".

It's gonna depend a bit on positional changes.. fingers crossed Dusty get FWD or DPP status, that may be what allows me to keep Drew perhaps...

Also hoping Drew retains his DPP too of course!!!

This is quite interesting, Sydney after Sam Gray. If they just brought in Lewis Taylor from Brisbane & still have Papley, why are they interested?
I think clubs like GC, Carlton & Sydney still looking at trading players or picks. Papley eager to come back as his spouse works in Melbourne. Pick 9 still on the cards possibly & a 2nd rounder back. Maybe GC accepting of a 2nd rounder & future 3rd instead of losing Martin for nothing in PSD or National Draft. Thoughts anyone?
