Any TV series watchers in the house? Been watching The League lately which is about fantasy football. Pretty damn funny actually, especially with the running fantasy football theme reckon it would be popular with half SCS's members.

Deciding between sons of anarchy, dexter, game of thrones and the wire for my next series. Have never seen any of them but they seem to be the ones i recall seeing on my facey newsfeed. Anyone seen these?

I quite enjoyed game of thrones. I must say, the books are better but the tv series is quite well done. Can't say I've seen any of he others you mentioned.

Cool cool, it ranks ridiculously high on imdb so 521,000 members all can't be wrong haha. I've never really been into fantasy so thats been the only thats held me back in the past but will watch a few episodes and see how i go.

Have caught a couple of episodes of True Blood with the misses, man that's like soft porn lol

Haha, yep! That's how they increase their ratings :)
Tbh, I was a bit the same, but it doesn't focus too heavily in the fantasy elements and they are well worked into the story so it didn't bother me as much as most of that genre

I'm not particularly into fantasy either, but the GOT series has got me hooked on the books. I'd give it a go. I think you'd be pleasantly surprised. The books are a little more heavy and require some concentration to follow who's who than the TV series, but have become a fan. Came in on Sons of Anarchy late, but it was surprisingly good. And "The Wire" ****s all over any cop show you may have seen in the past.

"House of Cards" is a recent one with Kevin Spacey at his absolute best that I could recommend as well.

I watched a few seasons of Dexter.
Grew on me but never saw 1st season stuff but caught last few seasons on dvd.

Fringe is my favourite tv series of recent decades.

I've been going backwards in time and watching old TV Series. e.g. Everybody Loves Raymond, My Wife and Kids, etc. :D

Get in to:

Game of Thrones - It rules and has boobs
Justified - Awesome well written crime drama with Timothy Olyphant (Deadwood) and Walton Goggins (The Wire) (no boobs)
True Detective - Amazing creepy as all f*ck serial killer cop show with Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson (has boobs)
Vikings - Totally AFL relevant as the lead guy Travis Fimmel was listed with the Saints before he broke his leg and went on to become a C.K. underwear model and a kick arse viking in this show (no boobs)
Boardwalk Empire - Classy but slow but ultimately rewarding (has boobs)

VEEP with Julia Louise-Dreyfus (Elaine from Seinfeld). She's back to her best in this - she is really tough and swears like a trooper. And she's still kinda hot. I always thought Elaine was doable.

I love this show, a great American political satire except it's produced by the British guy behind "In the Thick of It" and the movie "In the Loop" as well as the Alan Partridge shows and movie. So it's tough and smart funny not cheesy funny.

Partway through series 3 at the moment.

Finished up a show called Orange Is The New Black. Just great TV about a bisexual woman going into prison, great story line and its not just about the one person, you see back story about the inmates in there. Season 2 starts in June and if its as good as season 1 this show will be shooting right up my all time favorite show list into the top 5.
