She also mentioned she had never watched survivor when she auditioned and she was originally on stand- by in case someone pulled out last minute. Three weeks before shooting someone did pull out so she accepted and said she watched a few episodes during that time to see what she was getting herself into.

Andy making this all a bit too obvious. Hasn’t been practicing his acting skills.

Idols are way too easy to find nowadays.

Poor play by Janine, should have trusted your alliance.
It’s not great if everyone expects that as soon as one is played there is another in play. Good on Harry for looking for and finding another though.

Arguably one more reason not to play one, if you know it gives everyone else an opportunity to find one the next day.

Terrible acting and terrible social skills...
Worst superfan ever...
He has a very strange “butter wouldn’t melt in my mouth” face that he pulls quite a bit, but everyone knows he’s sneaky as, so I’m not sure who he thinks he is fooling!

He would have been better off trying to put pieces in the wrong spots than holding the pieces as though he’d never seen one before.

They had split their votes 3-2, so worst case it ends up 2-2 and there is a revote - you saw what happens. Only reason to play the idol was if you thought someone had flipped, or possibly as Tamuhawk said, if it only works until the merge.
Couldn't have explained it any better myself. (y)(y)(y)

I guess I was working on the assumption BEFORE the vote that they would just go 5 on Harry (although they did a split vote the previous council as well).

Maybe she was worried about Simon & Ross joining up with Harry & Matt.

Or perhaps it is all part of the TV drama.

Fun Survivor Fact:

Harry becomes just the second Australian Survivor player to play a 2nd idol successfully. The first being Phoebe from 2016 Australian Survivor.

Not sure Matt was a shock exit as they promo'd for lol.

I'm still waiting for "Sue's big move" from 2016.

What am I not getting here ... you don’t want these strategic players in the game, especially if they’re likely to be against you?!

... and they’re voting out a champion to keep a contender, just before we are likely to go to merge. Bizarre.

Hopefully not the last we see of him, that’s the worst way to go out I reckon.
would have been nice for him to stay , to see which way he would swing , kept his cards close to his chest.

With Matt voting for Harry the night before , did Ross vote for Pia as well and was starting to lean towards Harry.
