The eagles forward line looks very dangerous. TMac having to go down back is a big win for West Coast.

Interesting that the commentators were trying to make something of the "extra" bye last night.
They were saying Richmond looked flat, after only one game in 27 days, and maybe the AFL need to look at that.

.......... doesn't seem to be hurting the Eagles too much!

Feel for the Demons supporters. Hope for a yelp in the second half but be damn tough for the players.

As well as West Coast are playing something is not right with the Dees. Are they struggling with the heat or has there been a bug go through the group? We're just not watching the same group that played last week.

Maybe it's to do with the way the teams trained during their time off? It would be interesting to compare WCE's and RIC's training methods during the week.

Interesting game for the finals.

I ssupect we may have to consider Moore to play a sweeping/intercepting role on Vardy.

JJK-Goldsack
Darling-Howe/Langdon
Vardy-Moore

Moore can also follow Vardy into the ruck if necessary.

Mayne will play a defensive role on Mcgovern

Structurally West Coast has always countered our game plan, and it's costed us despite us playing better in the games before. Hope 2 losses is enough for Bucks to adjust and learn from his mistakes.

Instead of high contact or falling in the back of a player being tackled I think the umpire should be able to decide if an action is "dangerous" or "unnecessary". Even though Oscar McDonald clearly ended up in the back of Darling I don't think his actions were dangerous or unreasonable. Darling was never going to get hurt and McDonald's only intention was to stop Darling playing the ball once he took possession.

Given the poor 1Q, unlikely heat would be an impact. Melb has shown through the year they can beat any side on their day, but can have their down games. Remember even the battle hardened Hawks found the Eagles at home in 2015 a hard task given the crowd, to the point Sam Mitchell mentioned it post game.

Likewise Eagles midfield can be inconsistent, played with intent in 1H.
